Islamic State insurgents in Mozambique were mauled to death and eaten by wild lions during with pro-government forces over multi-billion dollar gas reserves.
The ISIS-linked jihadists – labelled ISIS-Mozambique by the US – were attacked and killed by wild animals including lions and crocodiles as they hid from a military operation after attacking villages in Cabo Delgado province in north Mozambique.
The terrorists killed people and burned down their homes in the attacks.
Vice President Kamala Harris used binoculars to view North Korea from the demilitarized zone, hours after she claimed the US had a ‘strong alliance’ with the enemy.
Video of Harris’ visit to South Korean on Thursday shows the vice president, accompanied by US soldiers, marveling as she looked into North Korea.

Green Party cancels first round of voting in leadership race: ‘We did not have the capacity to deal with it’
OTTAWA — The federal Green Party is changing course in the middle of its leadership race, dropping from two rounds of voting to one in the latest sign of turmoil for the troubled political organization.
The party’s internal governing body, the federal council, voted on Wednesday night to eliminate the first round of voting in the leadership race. The move was announced Thursday morning in a news release that said voting in the contest will now begin on Nov. 12 and conclude as scheduled with an announced winner and new leader on Nov. 19.

NordStar Capital Inc. co-owner Paul Rivett is seeking a court order to wind up the company after a breakdown in his relationship with business partner Jordan Bitove, raising uncertainty about the control of Torstar Corp. and the Toronto Star newspaper.
Mr. Rivett detailed the significant rift with his partner in an application filed with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on September 1, alleging Mr. Bitove thwarted business plans they had agreed to, ignored proper corporate governance, and attempted to sideline him. “There is complete deadlock between Rivett and Bitove,” the application states. “They can no longer work together.”

CBC is reportedly considering dropping an age-old requirement for its reporters to be objective — at least for those from a visible minority group.
The revelation was shared this week in an editorial by the Quebec newspaper La Presse. Senior editor François Cardinal wrote that CBC was considering an internal demand by its reporters that the broadcaster abandon its current standards requiring reporters and staff to remain neutral on political issues.
