British Prime Minister Keir Starmer entered No. 10 in July 2024 with a Labour majority big enough to bury the Conservatives for a generation. Less than two years later, Britain is waiting to see whether he leaves office on Monday.
The odds are he will be gone replaced by a clone. I can’t see his resignation being any sort of improvement.

A ‘predatory’ asylum seeker who groped a teenage girl on a train after being freed on bail for another sexual assault has been jailed for a year.
Meron Habtu came to the UK illegally from Eritrea in 2020 and ‘fooled’ the authorities into thinking he was a child so he could be placed with a host family, when he was actually 24.

Councils across Britain are employing environmental enforcement officers with no qualifications to police their streets by handing out fines for littering and spitting.
Workers are being sent out on daily foot patrols in an attempt to catch people and issue Fixed Penalty Notices under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
