OTTAWA—Some Muslim Liberal MPs say they’re afraid for their families and communities as the Israel-Hamas war has fuelled a rise in Islamophobia and racism over the last week.

Three MPs who spoke with the Star on Tuesday described feeling intense fear as they’ve seen disturbing reports of Islamophobia, including against their own family members, just as Jewish MPs have spoken out against an uptick in antisemitic incidents since the war started.

Attacks across Europe put Islamist extremism back in spotlight

For months now, authorities charged with keeping Europe safe from Islamist extremist violence have been sounding the alarm. In May, Dutch security services warned that the terrorist threat from Islamic State to Europe had increased. The same month, the French interior minister said the risk of Islamist terrorism was rising again and that his own country was being targeted, as well as its neighbours.

In recent days, these pessimistic forecasts appear to have been vindicated. France is deploying 7,000 extra troops on to its streets after a teacher was fatally stabbed on Friday in an attack that Emmanuel Macron condemned as “barbaric Islamic terrorism”. The suspected attacker swore an oath of allegiance to IS in an audio recording on his phone shortly before the killing, prosecutors have said.

Conservatives call return of ISIS wifey ‘unacceptable’

ISIS whore Dure Ahmed – back in Canada

The Conservatives say it’s “unacceptable” that the federal government allowed a Canadian woman with ties to ISIS to re-enter the country.

CBC News reported Tuesday new details about the identity of a 33-year-old woman the government repatriated with her children in April from a detention camp in northeastern Syria.

Dure Ahmed, who is now living in the Toronto area under conditions, was married to El Shafee Elsheikh. He’s a high-profile ISIS militant who was part of a cell known as “the Beatles” because of their British accents.

Elsheikh is the highest ranking ISIS member to be tried in the U.S. He’s serving multiple life sentences in a supermax prison for his role in the deaths of eight American, British and Japanese hostages.

Hamas fighters booby-trapped the body of a Canadian-Israeli mother after murdering her, layering her in bombs to kill anyone who came near her corpse, according to traumatized neighbors.

Adi Vital-Kaploun was killed in front of her two young sons on October 7 when the militants stormed Kibbutz Holit. After shooting her dead, neighbors say the fighters covered her body in bombs beneath one of her son’s beds.

MOSTYN: Defending Hamas makes you un-Canadian

Hamas supporters are attempting to make Canada as unsafe for Jews as possible. It is sickening, appalling and repulsive — and it repudiates everything for which liberal democracy stands.

It is not as if the Hamas terrorists are taking the next flight into Toronto. No, the Canadian-designated terrorist group that has been attacking Israel since Oct. 7 unfortunately has an outrageous number of supporters in this country.

B’nai Brith has been keeping an honest eye on the the islamists for years but despite their efforts and those of others (Self congratulatory pat on back)  our dumbstruck  pundits and politicians are spewing the “Gee I had no idea Hamas had such widespread support here in Canada” line.

Well how did Canada develop its home grown Hamas support?

  1.  Import masses of Murder Cultists who despise everything “for which liberal democracy stands”
  2. Embolden them by repeatedly turning a blind eye to their blatant hateful excesses literally for years upon years.
  3. Make no demands that they assimilate and call it “multiculturalism.”
  4. Teach them to despise racist, genocidal Canada’s heritage and values in schools and universities just like the government does.
  5. Protect the cultists by granting them government designated ‘entitled victimhood’ status including their own Hamasophobia Tzarina.
  6. Have an ideologically compatible and financially reliant press peddle the government’s lies and downplay the Murder Cult’s true contributions to our mosaic of diversity.
  7. Criminalize your citizens by demonizing anyone who dares criticize the cultists and the government’s suicidal immigration policies.
  8. In short Hamas support is made in Canada aided and abetted by our political, academic and chattering classes.

A Canadian woman whose marriage to a notorious ISIS fighter is being made public for the first time says she was “oblivious to what was going on” when she lived with him in Syria.

In an interview with CBC and U.K. public broadcaster BBC in Toronto last week, Dure Ahmed, 33, said she was unaware of the atrocities being committed by her then-husband El Shafee Elsheikh, who was part of a cell within ISIS linked to the abduction, torture and beheading of Western hostages.

She’s back in Canada! This is CBC’s way of telegraphing Justin Trudeau’s support for the Muslim vote bloc, the Hamas supporters can count on him to be let off easy.

Pro-Palestinian protester ‘threatened to behead’ activist

A protester on a pro-Palestinian march in central London allegedly threatened to behead a British-Iranian activist whose Israeli flag was stolen during clashes.

Vahid Beheshti, 46, said his protest camp outside the Foreign Office in opposition to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was repeatedly targeted during Saturday’s march.

Brussels shooting: Police shoot dead attacker who killed Swedes

Police in Brussels have shot dead the man who killed two Swedish nationals on Monday evening.

The 45-year-old man named as Abdesalem was shot in a café in the Schaerbeek neighbourhood.

Two Swedes were killed and a third injured in the automatic rifle attack on Monday.

Daniel Koren: York University needs to shut down its antisemitic hate mills now

Last week, the York Federation of Students, York University Graduate Students’ Association and Glendon College Student Union issued a horrific statement applauding the brutal Hamas genocide that left over 1,300 innocent civilians dead as “a strong act of resistance” against “so-called Israel.”

Alleged ‘IS Beatle’ Aine Davis pleads guilty to terrorism charges

A man who was once linked to an Islamic State cell nicknamed the Beatles has pleaded guilty to charges of possessing a firearm for terrorist purposes and funding terrorism.

Aine Davis, 39, appeared at the Old Bailey via video link from Belmarsh Prison on Monday.

He has already served a prison sentence in Turkey for being a member of the Islamic State group and was arrested on arrival back in the UK last August.

Davis will be sentenced on 13 November.

Brussels Islamic Terrorism shooting: Suspect at large after two killed in Belgian capital

Two people have been shot dead in the Belgian capital Brussels on Monday evening, police have said.

The gunman fled the scene and is still at large. Prosecutors say they are treating the shooting as terrorism.

Reports said the victims were Swedish. Sweden are playing Belgium in a Euro 2024 qualifier, but it is not known if the victims were there for the match.

A video posted on social media of an Arabic-speaking man claimed he carried out the attack in the name of God.

Majority of US residents worry Israel-Hamas conflict will lead to terrorism in US: Poll

A majority of residents in the United States have expressed concern that the conflict between Israel and Hamas could escalate into terrorism domestically, according to a new poll.

While 66% of respondents expressed fear, various demographics expressed a higher level of concern, including 75% of residents 65 and older, 72% of women, and 76% of Republicans, according to the latest CNN poll from SSRS.

There Is No Such Thing As ‘Palestinians’

The patterns of the anti-Semitic/Marxist/”Palestinian”/LGBTQ/BLM/hate-filled alliance are nothing if not predictable. After expressing shock and dismay that their Palestinian friends in Gaza specifically targeted civilians, in under a week, they have quickly shifted back to their repeated old rhetoric. They are now blaming Israel for the horrific attacks from Hamas, calling Israel’s counter-attacks on Hamas a “terrorist siege,” blitzing the media with images of wounded from Gaza, and attacking Israel in all ways as an ‘apartheid state’ and, as Ocasio Cortez defined Israel, a nation devoted to “ethnic cleansing”.
