An asylum seeker rapist who was unmasked by Reform UK MP Lee Anderson after attacking a ‘vulnerable’ teenage girl whom he pounced on in a park has been given a 14-year extended sentence.
Pakistani national Sheraz Malik’s immigration status was exposed by Mr Anderson after the drunken victim was targeted by Malik and his friend last summer.
Birmingham Crown Court heard he took turns with his friend raping the teenager, before asking her: ‘Did you enjoy that?’
The Sudanese migrant accused of the Belfast knife attack that triggered widespread riots this week is a former policeman from a prominent family in northern Sudan, according to new reports.
Friends told British media that Hadi Alodid briefly served with the police in Khartoum before leaving the country after the outbreak of civil war in 2023.
The revelation emerged as Northern Ireland experienced a second night of disorder, with police making 16 arrests and reporting injuries to 12 officers.

Demkiw said a suspect, 19-year-old Zara Jabbi, is still “outstanding.” Demkiw would not say if Jabbi is related to Pinizzotto’s fatal shooting.
Demkiw said Jabbi is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Police didn’t provide any other details.
Another suspect is in custody in hospital, Demkiw added, receiving emergency care.

Late on the evening of May 17 – which in Norway is Constitution Day, a festive occasion celebrated around the country with parades and parties – an 18-year old boy, as yet unnamed by authorities, was brutally beaten by four individuals, strangers to him, who were aged between 15 and 17. Unlike Henry Nowak, the victim in Bergen survived the assault, which was completely unprovoked. At the time of the incident, he was dressed in a one-piece blue outfit that identified him as a “russ,” a person who is about to graduate, or who has just graduated, from secondary school. By all accounts he did nothing to provoke the attack, which was filmed by one of two witnesses who then shared the video on social media.

How would you describe a culture where women are flogged in public for ‘inappropriate dress’? A culture where one woman suffered 40 lashes from a leather whip for the crime of wearing trousers and a T-shirt? A culture where a man who lies with a man risks being whipped a hundred times before being put in a dank cell for five years? A culture where apostasy is considered such an abominable sin that even a heavily pregnant woman could be sentenced to death for supposedly committing it?
Personally, I would call such a culture ‘alien’. In fact, I would call it backward, regressive, inhuman and morally inferior to the freer, more forgiving culture we Brits are lucky to live in. Why, then, was the unionist MP Jim Allister rebuked in the Commons yesterday for suggesting that the bloodletting maniac in Belfast heralded from an ‘alien culture’? For all of the primitive punishments listed above, all that state barbarism, took place in the nation where he was reportedly born: Sudan.

The United Kingdom’s government-appointed terrorism watchdog is openly wondering whether President Donald Trump had a point on immigration, as the country grapples with the fallout of a migrant’s attempted beheading of a citizen in Belfast.
Jonathan Hall, the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, acknowledged on Wednesday that recent trends of violence among immigrants “does raise the question” whether Trump was correct about the “destabilization of Europe” through mass immigration, even if one “may not agree with the language” used by the president.
The alleged knifeman in an “attempted beheading” that triggered riots in Belfast overnight has appeared in court, charged with attempted murder, knife possession, and threatening to kill an NHS radiographer.
A court has heard Steven Ogilvy, the victim of the “attempted beheading” in north Belfast, Northern Ireland, in the United Kingdom this week lost one eye and suffered serious damage to the other, as well as deep cuts to his neck. He remains in hospital in serious condition.
Late on Monday evening, a man in the Kinnaird Avenue area of North Belfast was the target of a brutal attempted murder. A circulating video of the event shows the attacker sitting atop his blood-soaked victim, apparently trying to behead the man. Several individuals attempted to wrestle the assailant off the victim, one using a hurling stick.

A Christian police support officer was sacked after he asked questions about Islam in a diversity training session.
Luke Salmons lost his job as a police community support officer (PCSO) with the North Yorkshire force and was barred from policing after a conversation about Gaza with a Muslim officer.
He later won an appeal against his dismissal but has never received an apology from the force where he said a “culture of fear” existed among officers who were terrified of being fired for saying the wrong thing.
