‘Feeding Our Future’ Fraudster Caught in Somalia

A Somali man who reportedly helped orchestrate one of the most egregious taxpayer fraud schemes in Minnesota and lived the high life off the ill-gotten gains is in custody after authorities caught him in Mogadishu.

“Feeding Our Future” executive director Aimee Bock, who implicated Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Gov. Tim Walz (D), and Attorney General Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) in the fraud, received a sentence of almost 42 years in prison for the $250 million fraud game. But it appears one of her fellow masterminds behind the fraud was hiding from justice in Somalia. Multiple co-conspirators in the scheme have already pleaded guilty.

Regina cult members pausing use of speakers used to amplify call to Satan in city’s downtown

REGINA — A Regina mosque is pausing announcements of the Muslim call to prayer that rung out from its rooftop speakers after receiving some pushback.

M Anisur Rahaman, the director of Regina City Jamia Masjid in downtown Regina, told a news conference Friday that some were threatening to remove the speakers while others were angry the weekly prayer was happening.

Complaints started pouring in last week, after a local social media account posted about it, he said.

Sweden Democrats Launch Online Map Tracking Mosques Across Sweden

The right-wing Sweden Democrats (SD) have expanded their online migration map by introducing a new filter showing the locations of mosques and Muslim prayer facilities across Sweden.

The initiative is intended to provide the public greater with insight into the growth of Islam in the country.

According to SD MEP Charlie Weimers, the new feature identifies 238 mosques and prayer venues, together with information on their religious affiliation and, where known, sources of funding.

Afghan migrant who ‘raped two 14-year-old girls at his flat after plying them with vodka’ tells court he drank alcohol because ‘Satan took over me’

An Afghan migrant accused of raping two 14-year-old girls has blamed ‘Satan’ for ‘losing control’ as he drank alcohol.

Sultani Bakatash, 29, is said to have plied both teenagers with vodka before ‘seizing the opportunity to rape and abuse them’ in December last year at his Bolton flat.

He earlier pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape; two counts of assault by penetration; and sexual assault.

Magdeburg Christmas market attacker sentenced to life

Magdeburg’s Regional Court has found a 51-year-old psychiatrist from Saudi Arabia guilty of murder for driving a rental car into a crowd at the Christmas market in the eastern city in 2024.

The judge sentenced Taleb Jawad al-Abdulmohsen to life in prison and said that the German equivalent of a first-degree murder charge in the US — known in German as particular severity of guilt — had been established. This makes the possibilty of early parole less likely.

The verdict can still be appealed.

Bangladeshi Muslim who raped girl, 12, states child rape is his culture

A Bangladeshi man who raped a 12-year-old girl and groomed a nine-year-old in Britain lacked “English moral values”, a court heard.

Tarek Miah, who abused his young victims after grooming them on TikTok and Snapchat, may have had an adverse attitude towards young girls because of his “culture”, prosecutors said.
Miah, 20, was jailed for 15 years at Portsmouth Crown Court in Hampshire after admitting eight charges, including four counts of raping a child under the age of 13.

French national Sylvie Yasmina, 54, agreed to move to Pakistan with her husband – who is alleged to have been living in Australia illegally – but claims she was then put through more than a decade of hell.

She told police she was kept with their five children in an ‘extremely dilapidated room’ in the remote village of Bara.

Islamic call to prayer faces ban under Left-wing Danish government – Immigration minister says parts of country “feel like Islamabad”

Denmark’s immigration minister has announced plans to ban the Islamic call to prayer, claiming parts of the country felt like “a suburb of Islamabad”.

Morten Bødskov, a member of the centre-Left Social Democrats party, said the new government would resume an investigation into the legality of imposing a ban.

“The call to prayer should not be heard over Danish rooftops,” the minister told Danish news outlet Ritzau. “It has no place in Denmark, and you shouldn’t be in any doubt whether you’ve ended up in a suburb of Islamabad when you walk around Denmark.”
