Muslim family living a ‘nightmare’ after false accusations of slaughterhouse on Ontario hobby farm

A Muslim family in Clarington, Ont., says it is living a “nightmare” after false allegations of an illegal slaughterhouse on its property transformed from online rumors into real-world harassment, threats and a planned protest.

Mohsin Bhuiyan, who has operated a small hobby farm in the community for the last year, says he and his family have been “terrorized” by those pushing misinformation about his property online, suggesting he is running an “illegal slaughterhouse” on site.

“We cannot sleep at night because they’re taking pictures. We do not know who is coming and who is passing by,” he told CBC News.

Court Finds Syrian Home Care Workers Abused Swedish Elderly People in Their Care

Two former home care workers of Syrian descent, Ghazi Jamal Eddin and Mohammad Kher Alhasan in Örebro have been convicted of filming and humiliating elderly people in their care, a case that has prompted Swedish MEP (Sweden Democrats/ECR) Charlie Weimers to call for the deportation of those responsible.

One of the culprits, Eddin, a 22-year-old Syrian man, was found guilty of 36 counts of offensive photography and seven counts of molestation after recordings showed him verbally abusing vulnerable residents while carrying out his duties. According to the district court, he repeatedly filmed elderly people in their own homes without their knowledge or consent, often targeting victims suffering from dementia, before sharing some of the recordings with others.

Vigilantes take to streets as grooming gang ringleader released

Vigilantes are taking to the streets of Rochdale after a Pakistani grooming gang ringleader was released from prison.

A group organised by local campaigner Billy Howarth will patrol the area in the coming days, with police remaining on standby.

Shabir Ahmed, 73, who was convicted of 30 child rape offences as part of the grooming gang, was released on Thursday and cannot be deported despite being stripped of his British citizenship.
