The West Confronted with Two Islams

Zineb Riboua, a Moroccan-American researcher, developed an original analysis in her recent essay for City Journal, “The West Faces Two Islams.” She distinguishes between an Islam in the West, infused with Third Worldism and centered on Israeli-Palestinian issues, as opposed to an Islam in the Muslim countries in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. Many in those regions have, by and large, modernized, are enthusiastic about technology, and seek a new relationship with their former colonizers from the West.

The fault line, therefore, is said to have shifted onto Western soil, where the West now faces a new homegrown Islam that is steeped in colonial resentment and forged in the Palestinian cause.

A Chicago Muslim group inspired by veteran Black Power activists solicits money to empty jails based on religious obligation.

Believers Bail Out claims to have freed 300 Muslims from immigration or pretrial detention with $2.4 million since its 2018 founding, according to its website. The organization has enjoyed financial support from several Muslim and left-wing groups focused on criminal justice reform or resisting Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Washington Examiner found. Believers Bail Out also coordinates with a network of bail funds that gained steam during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots.

Three Iranians accused of spying on journalists in UK as part of wider plot to attack dissident TV station staff

Three alleged Iranian spies plotted to ‘eliminate’ journalists in the UK and targeted a barrister linked to Israel on behalf of Tehran, a court has heard.

London-based Mostafa Sepahvand, 41, Farhad Javadi Manesh, 46, and Shapoor Noori, 57, allegedly used Chat GPT to help conduct research and then engaged in surveillance and reconnaissance.

Sepahvand was prepared to act as a hit man, who would conduct ‘serious violence’ as ‘retribution’ for their criticism of the Iranian regime, Woolwich Crown Court was told.

Report suggests Muslim Brotherhood has plans to transform Canada

A new report by the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) argues that the Muslim Brotherhood — the world’s oldest political Islamist group in the Arab world but forbidden to operate as an official political party in several Arab countries — revealed in a 1991 internal explanatory memorandum its “grand mission” to eliminate and destroy western civilization “in America and Canada,” from within. As with many things, Canada appears to be late in addressing this threat. Hopefully, not too late.

Too many Canadians can’t stomach the risk of being called “Islamophobic or “racist” so they’ll just let this slide.

Why the US bombers left RAF Fairford in a rush

The hasty withdrawal by the United States of its 12 B-1 Bombers from Royal Air Force base Fairford, without explanation by the Pentagon, has fueled much speculation. The most obvious conclusion is that there is an ongoing security threat to the airbase in Gloucestershire, even after the foiling of last week’s attack, if that is what it was.

The US, while initially pleased with what they said was a good British reaction to that incident on September 27, seemed as bemused as many others as to why five men, who were initially arrested on suspicion of terror offenses, were subsequently released on bail.

Florida Designates CAIR, Muslim Brotherhood As Terror Groups, Imposes Sweeping Curbs

Florida has designated the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Brotherhood as domestic terrorist groups, opening the way for sweeping restrictions on their activities across the state, top Indian intelligence sources told CNN-News18.

The move, approved by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Cabinet on September 29, comes under the state’s new terrorism law, HB 1471, and places restrictions on funding, contracts and access to state institutions.

US removes all bombers from RAF Fairford base

The US has withdrawn all of its bombers from RAF Fairford, the UK military base at the centre of an incident being investigated by counter-terror police.

A statement from a Pentagon official confirmed on Sunday it had removed its bombers – thought to be about a dozen B-1s – from the base back to their home stations in America.

US media reported a new threat led to the bombers being removed, which follows a major incident on 27 September when police were alerted to three “suspicious vehicles” near the airbase.

Everyone arrested has been released. One of the “Terrorists” called 999 themselves.

Somali gangs are being blamed for a shooting outside a homecoming game in a quiet Minneapolis suburb that left two people wounded, according to reports — and resulted in celebrations being canceled.

Shooting broke out shortly before 9 p.m. Friday local time at Eden Prairie High School during a homecoming game against Minnetonka, sending thousands of panicked spectators running for the exits, FOX 9 reported.

The IRGC and Muslim Brotherhood: An Alliance America Can’t Ignore

Western strategy in the Middle East has long suffered from a fatal conceptual flaw: treating Islamic fundamentalist movements as isolated, strictly sectarian entities. If the United States is to liberate Iran from the brutal oppression of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), eliminate the existential threat to Israel, and structurally reduce terrorism across the region, it cannot afford to view the IRGC as “the enemy” — however much the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran has cast it into the limelight. Instead, American foreign policy must simultaneously target the Muslim Brotherhood, recognizing that the IRGC and the Brotherhood are a long-standing symbiotic, cross-sectarian alliance.

A pro-Hamas group that led a riot at the University of Washington still operates despite the United States sanctioning its foreign affiliate as a front for terrorism.
