Muslim Communities Vow To Defy Austria’s New Headscarf Ban

Several Muslim communities in Austria have said they intend to ignore a new ban on Islamic headscarves for girls under 14, raising fears of confrontation in schools when the new school year begins.

The ban takes effect on September 7th in Vienna, Lower Austria, and Burgenland, with the remaining federal states following a week later.

It is estimated that up to 12,000 pupils could be affected nationwide.

Cambridge’s Farah Ahmed: study engineering ‘to produce weaponry for Jihad

Cambridge University’s education faculty – former home of Jason Arday – has appointed as assistant research professor a woman who wrote that Muslims should study engineering and computers ‘to produce advanced weaponry for Jihad in order that the deen [Islam] may dominate over all other deens.’

This is the fourth in our series of articles about Farah Ahmed, a former activist in the racist, extremist and separatist group Hizb ut Tahrir, now banned as a terror organisation, who has been given a senior role by Cambridge training the future leaders of the teaching profession.

Muslim voter campaigns target up to 80 Canadian ridings as coordinated push sought to make Gaza decisive in 2025 election, report alleges

OTTAWA — Canadian universities have participated in Qatar-backed research projects in scientific fields Canada classifies as sensitive, and coordinated campaigns sought to make causes including Gaza a decisive issue in the 2025 federal election, while broader Muslim voter-mobilization efforts target up to 80 ridings, according to a new report alleging that Canadian institutions have become unusually susceptible to Islamist influence.

I don’t blame them. I blame our political class.

‘They Are Against the Principles of the Country They Live In’: The Islamization of Europe

At the heart of the European Union, Belgium exemplifies better than perhaps any other Western European country the extent to which political elites seem to almost relish the degree to which Europe is being Islamized.

In July 2026, Israel’s Channel 12 News aired a report warning that Hamas terrorists, including high-ranking members of the organization’s Al-Qassam Brigades, now live in Antwerp — some of whom, according to local Gazans opposed to Hamas, are receiving Belgian citizenship.

‘I hate Democrats, but I love Abdul’: voters who left over Gaza return for progressive push

Two years ago, Zainab Bibi Ahmed thought she had turned her back on the Democrats for good. Now, she is volunteering for the party’s US Senate nominee in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed.

Ahmed was one of 100,000 people to vote uncommitted in the February 2024 Democratic Michigan primary, in a bid to send a message to then US president Joe Biden about his support for Israel, as people watched what Amnesty International later called a “live-streamed genocide” in Gaza on their screens.

That November, Ahmed – a resident of Troy, Michigan, and an academic staffer at Wayne State University – opted to vote for the Green party’s Jill Stein amid calls to punish Democrats over the administration’s support for Israel.

Europe’s Jihadi Migrants: Mapping Migrant Involvement in Jihadi Terrorism in Europe (2015–2025)

In a warm summer evening in late August 2024, a 26-year-old Syrian national named Issa al-Hasan carried out a mass stabbing at the ‘Festival of Diversity’ in Solingen, Germany, killing three people and injuring eight others.1 The attack took place in front of the main stage during a live performance by DJ Topic, who later revealed that security personnel had urged him to continue his set to prevent mass panic among the crowd. He kept playing for another 10–15 minutes, until the music was finally stopped. Eyewitnesses reported that al-Hasan, who had been in contact with an ISIS handler on Telegram the day before the attack, had shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ during the assault.2 One of his victims, Ines Wallusch, a 56-year-old pharmacist, bled to death in the arms of her husband after suffering a fatal stab wound to her carotid artery.

Revealed: The full scale of illegal ‘family voting’ at the Birmingham polls – as election watchdog is urged to investigate

The elections watchdog has been urged to investigate after the country’s biggest town hall admitted the full scale of illegal ‘family voting’.

Birmingham City Council revealed staff witnessed attempts to breach the secret ballot at 50 polling stations in May’s local elections.

A list of incidents obtained by the Daily Mail showed presiding officers repeatedly had to tell voters it is against the law to enter a booth with someone else and tell them which candidate to pick – and received abuse in return.

Islamism and the silence of the ‘progressives’

Islamism and the silence of the ‘progressives’

The German state cannot fairly be accused of inattention when it came to Abdul Ballout. It had been observing him for the better part of a decade. It had convicted him three times and had, by the start of July, arrived at an assessment of his character that turned out to be entirely accurate. The counsellors of the deradicalisation programme into which a Berlin court had released him in May had logged their misgivings, concluded that his cooperation was a performance, and set about drafting a recommendation that he be removed from their books. They were still drafting that recommendation on Saturday 25 July, when the 21-year-old drove a white van into the closing party of Christopher Street Day, a part of Berlin’s Pride season, a few hundred yards from the Brandenburg Gate. He killed one person and injured 29 others, and then proceeded to set about the survivors with a machete.

Who Needs Islam?

Who Needs Islam?

Short answer: Nobody.

Long answer: Not only does nobody need it, but the world would be better without it. Nowhere does Islam touch that doesn’t get worse. Nowhere does Islam conquer that doesn’t leave its inhabitants more oppressed. Nowhere does Islam “flourish” that doesn’t witness a new dark age in terms of freedom, education, and human progress. And nowhere does Islam reign that doesn’t unleash the darkest impulses of man’s insatiable desire for power.

FBI arrests woman over alleged plot to bomb New York capitol building

FBI arrests woman over alleged plot to bomb New York capitol building

The FBI has arrested a New York woman who was allegedly planning to bomb the state capitol building in Albany to kill lawmakers.

Prosecutors allege that Jessica Bowie, 35, had previously pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group (IS). She is charged with providing material support or resources to a designated foreign terrorist organisation.

Bowie had “repeatedly surveilled the building” in advance, and was carrying a fake bomb and a defective gun, which had been supplied to her by undercover agents, prosecutors said.
