Britain is America’s mother country. Regardless of what one may think of the once-Great Britain today, much of America’s essence sprang from that island’s political philosophy, cultural inheritance, legal tradition, and national character. Our language, common law, conception of liberty, parliamentary instincts, and stubborn individualism all trace back directly to Britain. Britain may have declined, but the DNA of its greatness lives on in us. Its decline is therefore not merely a foreign story. It is a cautionary tale written in a language we understand because we inherited it. We ignore those linkages at our peril.
While Hamas continues its forever war against Israel following its attack on the Jewish state on October 7, 2023, often ignored is how the Trump administration is combating Hamas’ growing threat to the U.S. — namely its fundraising and its growing inspiration for terrorism in the homeland.

He killed thirteen people and wounded thirty-two. One of the dead was Private Francheska Velez, who was pregnant. A court-martial in 2013 convicted Hassan of thirteen counts of premeditated murder and thirty-two counts of attempted murder and sentenced him to death. Then the country waited.

Alas, Britain serves as a cautionary tale, illustrative in conservative American circles of what happens to a western country that neglects to check wholesale Muslim immigration.
Nidal Hasan’s execution for a “radical Islamist terror attack” will be carried out in public, the secretary of defense said Thursday. The man responsible for the worst attack on a U.S. military base during peacetime will face a firing squad on December 3 at the same place, same time and same day of the week as his November 5, 2009, attack that killed 13 and injured 32 at Fort Hood, Texas. “We’ll make sure it is public, that people are able to watch it. People need to understand that there are serious consequences for these types of things,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told a Human Events Daily reporter on board the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.

Over the weekend, the Pentagon ordered all U.S. Air Force B-1 bombers to be urgently evacuated from a Royal Air Force (RAF) base in the once-peaceful countryside of England called RAF Fairford, where they had previously been stationed, and flown back home to America. Why? Because England is no longer considered a safe country for such expensive pieces of kit to be kept in.

An 18-year-old in Minnesota has been charged for allegedly “planning a mass casualty attack in support of ISIS,” according U.S. Attorney for Minnesota Dan Rosen on Wednesday afternoon.
Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud was allegedly planning to conduct a shooting “later this month” at the Mall of America “in order to commit a federal crime of terrorism, including attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.”
A new body paid millions of pounds to be the Government’s official monitor of anti-Muslim hatred has made multiple false claims about attacks on mosques, and other claims for which it refuses to provide evidence, The Spectator can reveal. One of the most serious supposed attacks on mosques was actually on a building labelled as a synagogue. At least two of the supposed attacks on mosques never took place.
