I just heard via a reliable source that the European Union (EU) countries have dismissed Prime Minister Mark Carney and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen “Associate Member” nonsense. This was simply a deal put together by the two of them with no discussion whatsoever with their constituents or member countries. Now, the New York Times claims that the university is backing away from this pledge.

A Labour minister who claimed visions of Britain’s countryside based on warm ale and black labradors were a ‘far-Right fantasy’ has posted images of her own rural idyll online – including of a black labrador.
Jenny Riddell-Carpenter, the recently appointed nature minister, shared pictures of the family pet and past trips to a countryside pub despite telling a fringe meeting at the Labour Party conference she is kept awake at night by her fear that the hard-Right will use this supposed fantasy at the next election.

OTTAWA – Prime Minister Mark Carney says with Canada’s immigration system back under control, the question now is when to begin a “controlled increase” of the country’s population.
Carney made the remark in a recent interview with the New York Times, just over a month before the government is required by law to release its immigration levels plan for the next three years.
“Now the question starts to become, when do we resume some controlled increase in the population, which is the nature of Canada?” Carney told the New York Times.
