Nonbinary ‘Gegi’ unicorn teaches Ontario kids to be trans activists, identify as gender fluid

A “nonbinary” cartoon unicorn whose name is a slang term for vagina is being used to teach children in Canada about gender identity, training them to be trans activists.

Named “Gegi,” the unicorn is a new virtual resource that teaches students about the rights at schools in Ontario, the most populous Canadian province. The mythical creature was created by two Ontario academics: Lee Airton, a professor of gender and sexuality studies in education at Queen’s College in Kingston, and Kyle Kirkup, a professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa…

Governments need to stop playing God

The suspension of social life has done enormous harm.

Numerous Western governments, with the blessing of their scientific advisers, have suspended basic civil rights and effectively placed government ministers above their own constitutions – purportedly in order to protect public health. Instead of improving and expanding hospital facilities, fast-tracking the development of promising treatments and offering focused protection to the elderly and vulnerable, governments have confined citizens to their homes, shut down businesses, heavily restricted public gatherings and attempted to regulate the internal life of households.

Politicization Isn’t Sustainable

Corporate and journalistic virtue-signaling sows discord and can endanger an organization’s bottom line.

As the definition of “social responsibility” continues to expand, the corporate world is undergoing an identity crisis. Executives regularly come under fire from subordinates or vocal activists who demand that their companies wade into politics. More often than not, these accusations come from well-organized but small-in-number political activists, rather than regular customers or the highest-performing employees.

George Soros Gets a COVID Loan

In March, the Small Business Administration gave a $234,548 Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) “loan” to George Soros’s East-West Management Institute (EWMI).

The official description of the transaction is “to aid small businesses in maintaining workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic”, but federal grants and contracts to EWMI (its primary source of revenue) rose from $9,185,194 in FY 2019 to $14,859,293 in 2020. EWMI previously received a $226,179 PPP loan in May of 2020. As a supposedly small business struggling through the pandemic, EWMI enjoys office space at 575 Madison Avenue in New York City and 1101 Connecticut Ave NW in Washington, DC.

The man, known as QT for legal reasons, was handed an 18-month community order at the Old Bailey.

He had pleaded guilty to breaching his Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures (TPIM) by seeing the woman.

Newsom, California Agree To Pay More Churches In Settlements Over Lockdown Discrimination

The State of California agreed to enter into permanent injunctions that prohibit the State from imposing discriminatory restrictions on all houses of worship statewide and also agreed to pay $2,150,000 in attorneys’ fees to settle two religious liberty cases.

The settlements, secured by attorneys for the Thomas More Society, resolve the cases they brought on behalf of South Bay United Pentecostal Church and Father Trevor Burfitt against Democratic California Gavin Newsom.

BLM St. Paul Founder Who Quit Says Black Lives Matter Is ‘Racist’ Against Black Children Over Charter Schools

The founder of a Black Lives Matter chapter in St. Paul, Minnesota, said that the left-wing organization engages in a form of racism because it opposes school choice.

Rashard Turner, who left Black Lives Matter, released a video last week saying he learned the “ugly truth” about the group operates and claimed that “they had little concern for rebuilding black families, and they cared even less about improving the quality of education for students in Minneapolis.”

A new report, “Silent Victims of Labor Trafficking: China’s Belt and Road workers stranded overseas amid Covid-19 pandemic” by China Labor Watch, published on April 30, details the conditions of some of those overseas Chinese workers, who are building China’s Belt and Road infrastructure projects across the world. China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) forms a crucial part of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) foreign policy and is a key tool in China’s ambition to become a global superpower.

Ontario schools will not return to in-person learning in June: Premier Ford

Ontario elementary and secondary students will not be returning to class in-person anywhere in the province before September 2021, Premier Doug Ford confirmed Wednesday.

After weeks of encouragement from the outgoing chief medical officer of health, a collaborative of epidemiologists and most local medical officers of health to return some or all schools to in-person learning in June, Ford said it just wasn’t worth it.

Hamas Shows Journalists a Damaged School That Appears to Have Been Hit by a Hamas Rocket

Last week, Hamas took journalists through a damaged school to show how horrible Israel is.

But note the pattern of tiny holes all over the walls.

That’s not how Israeli missiles work. Israeli attacks in Gaza are as pinpoint as possible, because Israel wants to avoid collateral damage. (Israel stopped using cluster munitions in 2006, although it is still criticized for exporting them to other countries.)

Britain braced for summer of migrant mayhem: Fears of ‘mob unrest’ by asylum seekers unhappy with their conditions after landing in the UK

Britain is braced for a summer of migrant chaos after more than 1,600 arrived across the Channel in the past month – more than double last year’s total for May – and 500 were brought in over the final four days of last month alone.

This is despite Priti Patel’s announcement of an immigration crackdown in March, and following an agreement with the French authorities to crack down and effectively stop migrant crossings by last spring.

But the Home Secretary’s vow lies in tatters this summer as Home Office sources blame the French for not doing enough to stop the crossings and intercept boats before they even set sail, despite being handed a £28million fund of UK taxpayers’ money to do so.
