Six police officers are in hospital with gunshot wounds and two suspects have been killed following an attempted bank robbery in Saanich, B.C., on Tuesday.
As of Tuesday afternoon, police continue to ask people in the area of North Dairy Road to Cedar Hill Cross Road, and between Richmond Road to Cedar Hill Road, to shelter in place as heavily armed officers search for a possible third suspect.
Multiple officers from Saanich Police, VicPD, and the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team (GVERT) responded to the report of armed suspects at a bank in the 3600-block of Shelbourne Street around 11 a.m.
This seems odd for a Canadian bank robbery, shootouts are as rare as dead bank robbers.
So was it drugs that motivated such a suicidal commitment by the robbers or were they following a higher calling and this is linked to the Coastal gas terrorists?

One of the most persistent myths about taxpayer investments in sports is that pumping public money into stadiums and arenas or hosting big international events generates enormous economic returns for communities. We got another repeat of that fairytale recently, when mayors and governors around the country touted the benefits that the World Cup would bring if soccer’s international governing body named them as host cities for the 2026 North American tournament. The fantastical sums thrown about—at a time when NFL franchises are asking cities to pony up for the next generation of subsidized stadiums—are a reminder that the public purse is never off-limits to popular pursuits like sports.

Iran and its terrorist proxies have intensified their efforts to sabotage US President Joe Biden’s upcoming visit to the Middle East, which is scheduled to take place in mid-July.
The effort to sabotage the visit comes amid reports that Biden will try to advance Israel-Saudi relations and broker a military alliance between Israel and a number of Arab countries to confront the threats and terror by Iran and its proxies.
According to the reports, Biden is planning to form a regional conference in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The coalition will include the US, Israel, and some Arab countries, including Gulf states, Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq. “The new alliance is intended to contain Iran and, in the first stage, will be based on an air defense system against Iranian missiles and attack drones and cyber security measures,” said Prof. Eytan Gilboa, an expert on US-Israel relations.
If spending more on Indigenous issues led to actual improvements in the lives of Indigenous people, then their lives would be much better by now.
When Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberals came to power in 2015, federal spending on Indigenous issues was $11.4 billion annually.
According to Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland’s latest budget, it’s estimated at $27.4 billion this year — an increase in nominal dollars (not accounting for inflation) of 140% in seven years.

As scenes emerged of police confronting the Freedom Convoy protesters in Ottawa in February, Kevin Vickers, a former House of Commons sergeant-at-arms and Canada’s ambassador to Ireland from
2015 to 2019, started receiving messages from his international contacts about what was happening in Canada.
“I think those images, whether they’re benign or whatever, are certainly something that will come back to haunt us,” Vickers, who as sergeant-at-arms famously helped subdue Parliament Hill attacker and killer Michael Zehaf-Bibeau in 2014, told The Epoch Times.
A vast majority of drivers say they’re worried they won’t be able to afford the cost to fill up at the pumps this summer as record gas prices continue to climb, according to the results of a recent survey.
As the average price for regular gasoline topped the $2-per-litre mark earlier this month, 69 per cent of Canadian respondents to an Ipsos Poll conducted exclusively for Global News said they were concerned they might not be able to afford gas.
It’s deliberate. And don’t buy that BS about electric cars. They want you impoverished and unable to drive anything.
Will there be riots?

Hollywood went all in for Joe Biden in 2020. And now they are paying the price, literally, as the cost of movie and TV production soars to levels that are giving entertainment executives sticker shock.

Harsh critics have slammed the G7 leaders for ‘sitting around for photo opportunities’ as they posed without ties looking like they’ve ‘woken up after a stag do.’
The world’s seven most powerful leaders, including Prime Minister Boris Johnson, have been blasted online for their seemingly blasé approach to the summit, as they were accused of trying to look ‘hip and trendy.’
Images of the politicians posing during a photo-call at Elmau Castle, Bavaria, have gone viral on social media – with many pointing out how ‘relaxed’ they looked.
Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 in prison Tuesday for her role in helping powerful pedophile Jeffrey Epstein abuse young girls, capping off a dramatic fall from grace for the British socialite turned-convicted sex-trafficker.
US District Judge Alison Nathan said the sentence of 240 months was “sufficient and no graver than necessary,” for Maxwell, who earlier addressed the court and told her victims, “I am sorry for the pain that you experienced.”
“I hope my conviction and harsh incarceration brings you pleasure,” said Maxwell, wearing blue jail scrubs, her dark brown locks cut in a bob.

Canada’s electronic spy agency says it’s used its arsenal to try and stop foreign extremists from recruiting Canadians and sharing violent material online.
The acknowledgement is nestled in the Communications Security Establishment’s annual report made public Tuesday, which points to recent cases where it flexed its cyber muscles.
While the details are largely sanitized in the report, the examples shed some light on how the foreign signals intelligence agency has been using the “active” cyber capabilities granted to it by the Liberal government in 2019.
How are Democrats like a two-year-old?
There’s a reason they call it the “terrible twos.” The poor, frustrated toddler is old enough to know what he wants but can’t verbalize his needs or desires. So the child screams and cries hysterically because it’s the only way he has to communicate.

Like abortion Canada never had a wage-fixing law.
Nathaniel Erskine-Smith, a Liberal MP from Toronto, woke up on his birthday in 2020 and wrote out an email on his phone.
Two days earlier, on June 13, 2020, Canada’s top three grocery chains simultaneously cancelled their $2-per-hour “hero pay” bonuses for front-line workers — the store clerks and warehouse staff who continued showing up to keep supermarkets running despite lockdowns, uncertainty, and widespread absenteeism in the first few months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is a rare occasion when I have praise for the LPC but then they rarely earn it. The people who inspired this law are Grocery Chain execs, from the same conglomerates that literally colluded to steal bread from the mouths of children.
Don’t forget that these are the same folks screaming for mass immigration because it seems their low wage wage slaves have disappeared.
The mystery of the million missing workers — and what it means to our economy
“The pandemic appears to have caused, or accelerated, some structural changes within the Canadian labour market that are resulting in high vacancy levels — particularly for low-paying occupations,” wrote the economists.
“Aging demographics, particularly among those with below university education, and immigration driven by new university graduates, have contributed to this trend. The result has been a greater proportion of people working in higher-paying sectors, and labour shortages in many lower wage occupations.”
Why that hasn’t yet translated into the boost of productivity you would expect is another mystery.
The economists said part of the problem could be that sectors in which vacancy rates are high need the staff in lower paying jobs to reach maximum efficiency. A lack of baggage handlers, for example, would severely impede the operation of an airport.
