The “queen of Canada” led supporters to Peterborough’s police station on Saturday, calling for the “citizen’s arrest” of local officers.
Instead, two of her supporters were arrested.

The ayatollahs have found their accomplices in western liberals

We blame the Rushdie attack on Muslim fanatics, but we shouldn’t ignore our own complicity

“… I would suggest that this is delusional, a fantasy conjured up by western liberals to distract from a more sinister truth: over 30 years they have worked as the de facto accomplices of the ayatollah, assisting in the task of dismantling free speech, sending fear through those who dare to criticise or ridicule religion or anything else. Rushdie, in this sense, is not — and never was — a historical affair but a live scandal running through the veins of British life, not to mention other western societies.”

GUNTER: A jobs recovery that rests on public sector jobs isn’t sustainable

I think I’ve finally figured out why more people who work in the public sector were OK with COVID lockdowns and mask mandates than people in the private sector. And, no, it’s not because they are part of some grand plot dreamt up by the World Economic Forum to strip us of our rights.

It’s because lockdowns and other restrictions didn’t impact their incomes and lives as much as they did for private-sector workers.

Imagine that. Trannies and Islamists united in hate for JK Rowling. Well Mo was a cross dresser.

The Western Wall is one of the holiest sites in Judaism. Thousands travel to pray there every year.

Centre Ice Conservatives tell their tale of woe to CBC

Centre Ice Conservatives are warming the bench for now

Speaking to a gathering of self-described “Centre Ice Conservatives” in Edmonton on Thursday, former British Columbia premier Christy Clark offered a tidy explanation for why the people in the room had come together.

“When you look across the country, what we see are political leaders rushing to the fringes. Political leaders of all political stripes – they’re all trying to get right to the edge,” she said. “And you are trying to do the exact opposite. You are trying to preserve that middle political path that has saved Canada so many times and that has preserved our country.”

The only question now is how Centre Ice Conservatives — or any other group of dissatisfied centre-right conservatives — might go about doing that.

Progressives for jihad

The woke set’s sympathy for Palestinian Islamic Jihad is deranged.

Remember when progressives were opposed to hardline religious movements that use violence to try to destroy democratic states? Those were the days. As a godless humanist instinctively wary of religious fundamentalism, I miss them. They really are long gone. The sympathy offered by self-styled progressives to Palestinian Islamic Jihad in recent days has made that clear. Islamic Jihad is a thoroughly regressive movement. It says it will settle for nothing less than the obliteration of Israel. It wants to create an Islamic State of Palestine in which Sharia would rule and all who fall foul of it – uppity women, homosexuals, atheists – would suffer. For the right-on to sympathise with such an outfit is akin to chickens giving solidarity to KFC.

Justin Trudeau’s Woke Trail Through Canada

A disturbing look at what a leftist Prime Minister has done to his country.

If you want to understand the appeal and success of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, you first have to get through the “sexy” part.

From Glamour magazine, Vogue, Teen Vogue to Time magazine, for years the headlines have dripped with embarassing sexual dew.

These Photos of Young Justin Trudeau are Breaking Hearts All Over the Internet, Time magazine declared in 2017. Glamour Magazine followed suit with: “Young Justin Trudeau was a Regulation Hottie.” Given this sort of press, it’s no wonder that Trudeau won Vogue Canada’s 2015 “Sexiest Man Alive” contest with his “sleek suits and swagger.”

Racialized residents facing systemic barriers in accessing Toronto greenspaces

“We heard so much from residents that they need access to high-quality greenspace, benches that aren’t broken, basketball nets that aren’t messed up, having the amenities… that you actually have clean drinking fountains. This is not too much to ask for,” she adds.
