New Brunswick art gallery will show controversial Mohammed the Goat Rapist … oh wait it’s just that “Edgy” Piss Christ slop

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton is planning to exhibit one of the most controversial art works of the 1980s this summer.

The gallery announced Tuesday that it will be showing Piss Christ (Immersions), a large photograph by the American artist Andres Serrano that shows a crucifix suspended in an amber fluid that the artist identified as his own urine. It will be on display from Thursday to Nov. 29.

That spineless Gallery would never dare show the Motoons, but “Piss Christ” that’s so edgy and cool!

Elon should have a word with Grok about Double standards.

Carney says he had several talks with Trump during G7 despite no official meeting

Prime Minister Mark Carney says he had several informal discussions with U.S. President Donald Trump during the G7 summit in France, despite not having an official meeting.

Carney told reporters during the final day of the summit Wednesday that the president only had scheduled bilateral meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

While Macron is the only G7 leader Trump has met with at the G7 so far, he has held bilateral meetings with the leaders of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Vance shuts down hostile ‘The View’ hosts accusing Trump admin of denigrating ‘black folks’

Vice President JD Vance easily batted down accusations the Trump administration is hostile to Americans of color in his Tuesday appearance on “The View.”

Vance’s first time venturing into hostile territory was a cordial if restrained affair as he squared off with the show’s lefty hosts on a range of issues, coming away mildly bruised but far from beaten.

Homeownership increased for recent immigrants in Canada and decreased for Canadian-born individuals: StatsCan

Homeownership increased for recent immigrants in Canada and decreased for Canadian-born individuals: StatsCan

Homeownership rates for recent immigrants in Canada grew recently, but it also decreased for Canadian-born individuals, according to a Statistics Canada study released Tuesday.

Homeownership in Ontario among recent immigrants in their fifth year in Canada rose by from 35.7 per cent in 2018 to 40.2 per cent in 2021, recording an increase of over 12 per cent. While Canadian-born individuals saw a five per cent decrease in homeownership rates for the same period from 50.7 per cent to 47.8 per cent.

I guess the Elbow people who voted for economic security wrecking mass immigration all have homes set aside for their children and grandchildren.

Group planned to attack White House UFC event using snipers and drones, FBI says

The FBI thwarted a plot targeting Sunday’s UFC event at the White House and has arrested five men, the US justice department said on Tuesday.

Part of the plan involved striking nearby buildings with explosive-laden drones and firing on “high value targets”, prosecutors alleged.

One suspect was arrested in Ohio last week, where investigators reviewed encrypted messages involving other alleged conspirators. Prosecutors said in charging documents they had allegedly “expressed ultra-religious and antigovernment sentiments”.

Sounds like a revolt!

Tasha Kheiriddin: The key to reaching a trade deal with the U.S.

Tasha Kheiriddin: The key to reaching a trade deal with the U.S.

Is there hope for the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA)? For over a year, Canada-U.S. trade talks have been testy at best, in a deep freeze at worst.

U.S. President Donald Trump mocked us as the “51st state,” put tariffs our steel, aluminum and autos, and claimed that America doesn’t need anything we’re selling. Prime Minister Mark Carney declared that Canada must reduce its dependence on the U.S., circled the globe inking foreign trade deals and became the darling of Davos for his vision of “middle power” alliances.

Conrad Black: Europe’s Immigration Policy Behind Growing Hostility, Economic Pressure

Conrad Black: Europe’s Immigration Policy Behind Growing Hostility, Economic Pressure

The murder last December of Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old university student in Southampton, UK, apparently by a Sikh immigrant using a long tribal knife—which in deference to that ethnic group is permitted to be carried by Sikhs in Britain—followed by the near-fatal assault of Stephen Ogilvie in Belfast earlier this month, apparently by a Sudanese man, have both led to extensive rioting in those cities and raised concerns about immigration and racial relations in the United Kingdom to perhaps their highest level.

The Nowak killing was especially gruesome as the assailant’s brother called police to report Nowak for racial hate crimes, while the mother hid the murder weapon. The assailant himself claimed to be acting in self-defense after being assaulted by Nowak following a number of ethnic slurs. Police body cameras and recording devices yielded chilling evidence of the biases and incompetence of police. They handcuffed Nowak, who had been stabbed five times with the eight-inch knife. His protests of having been grievously injured were ignored and as he was dragged to a police vehicle, he died in apparently excruciating pain while being read his rights as a defendant.

BBC children’s show ‘influenced by pro-migrant campaigners’

Pro-migrant campaigners boasted that they had influenced a BBC children’s television show as part of an attempt to change attitudes to asylum seekers, The Telegraph can reveal.

The group lobbied the producers of a CBBC programme for children aged around seven to “impact the framing of migration”.

Another charity claimed to have helped place a piece about refugees finding a new home in Britain on BBC News and a newspaper article about LGBT refugees from Africa.

CBC will no longer show NHL games as sublicense with rights-holder Rogers Sportsnet ends

CBC will no longer show NHL games as sublicense with rights-holder Rogers Sportsnet ends

The NHL will no longer be shown on CBC after it and national rights-holder Rogers Sportsnet were unable to come to agreement on a new sublicensing deal that would have allowed the public broadcaster to air games on its Saturday program Hockey Night in Canada.

The CBC, which began televising NHL games in 1952, had operated under that agreement since Rogers Sportsnet acquired the league’s Canadian rights in 2013 for $5.2 billion. Rogers Sportsnet renewed those rights with a 12-year, $11.2-billion deal to begin in October.

I think CBC became too Trans for hockey.

Sweden Backs Stricter Residency Rules With ‘Good Behaviour’ Law

Sweden’s parliament has approved a new law allowing authorities to revoke residence permits from ‘badly behaved’ migrants.

Even Sweden is waking up. Canada not so much.
