Jimmy Kimmel Martyr Brigades Carries Out First Attack on TV Station

Politics is changing all the time. If you don’t pay attention, you’ll need a guide to explain why a retired teachers’ union legislative director is shooting up an ABC TV affiliate.

The short version is leftist politics is not only a mental illness, it’s a terrorist training pipeline. A month ago, the gentleman in question presumably would not have been thinking about shooting up his local ABC TV affiliate.

MORGAN: We can’t afford government-built housing

Mark Carney’s $13 billion housing initiative highlights everything that’s wrong with the Canadian system and why things won’t be improving under the Carney government.

To begin with, it proves Carney’s claims that he will streamline the government and reduce the bureaucracy to be hollow. The Trudeau government nearly doubled the civil service over 10 years. Carney has implied the growth was unsustainable and that he will get the bloat under control. Then he announces a new agency which will employ hundreds if not thousands of new civil servants. Not one of which will swing a hammer to help build a home.

Was Kirk ‘Divisive’—or Did He Simply Say What Millions Believe?

Charlie Kirk’s critics branded him “divisive,” but his defense of common-sense values made him a unifying voice for millions—until the Left sought to silence him.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is exercised that Charlie Kirk once said that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was “a mistake.”

Rep. Bennie Thompson sees AOC’s charge and raises it: “The fact is,” he said in an official statement, “Charlie Kirk’s rhetoric was divisive, disparaging, and too often rooted in grievance. The beliefs he evangelized normalized fringe views on race, sex, and immigration. Unfortunately, his rhetoric resurrected dangerous prejudices of a dark past.”

Université de Sherbrooke keeps medical student despite alleged antisemitic, homophobic posts

The Université de Sherbrooke is sticking to its decision to admit a student to its medical school despite mounting concerns by parents and Jewish doctors’ groups over social media posts he is alleged to have made that were antisemitic, homophobic and sexist — and despite the fact Quebec’s lieutenant-governor has now stripped him of a youth medal over the controversy.

Interest from U.S. doctors looking to work in Canada has spiked but few have made the move

The passing thought of moving to Canada from the United States because of its political climate became an active idea for physician Libby Fleming when, in 2022, the constitutional right to abortion was overturned south of the border.

She had a planned trip to Costa Rica later that summer but cancelled it, booking a plane ticket to Nova Scotia instead. The Atlantic province was a bucket-list destination for her. It was also actively recruiting foreign physicians to address a country-wide shortage of doctors.

Erika Kirk breaks silence on death penalty for Charlie Kirk’s killer: ‘I do not want that man’s blood on my ledger’

Charlie Kirk’s grieving widow has revealed exactly how she feels about her husband’s alleged killer facing the death penalty.

Carney recognizes Palestinian state

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Mark Carney announced Canada’s formal recognition of a Palestinian state on Sunday, just ahead of his arrival in New York for the United Nations General Assembly.

Carney said in a statement that the Netanyahu government’s expansionist policies forced him to reverse Canada’s longstanding policy of waiting for a two-state solution to be achieved via a negotiated settlement.

“The current Israeli government is working methodically to prevent the prospect of a Palestinian state from ever being established … It is in this context that Canada recognises the State of Palestine and offers our partnership in building the promise of a peaceful future for both the State of Palestine and the State of Israel,” wrote Carney.

GUNTER: Federal housing program reveals Carney government’s magical thinking

Last weekend, Ana Bailão, a longtime member of Toronto city council, took up her job as the first CEO of Build Canada Homes (BCH), the Carney government’s new bureaucracy tasked with doubling the number of homes built annually across the country.

Put aside for a minute the wisdom of appointing a longtime councillor from the city with the second-highest housing prices in the country, and forget for a second that Bailão chaired Toronto city council’s affordable housing committee during the years in which Toronto witnessed some of its worst inflation in housing prices.

Charlie Kirk’s Assassination Is Evidence of Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual warfare is real, undeniably real, and the Western world is currently in the throes of it. Some years ago, it may have been easy (or at least easier than it is now) to brush off the wearisome warning of Christians who saw Satan’s hand in everything from blatant evils like abortion to sly innuendo in children’s movies. But the present state of the Western world leaves no doubt that powers and principalities are doing battle here and now, and the prizes being fought for are our souls.

Meet Britain’s new RoboCops

‘Small but mighty,’ is how Baroness Casey described Bedfordshire Police when she released her report on grooming gangs over the summer. She told MPs that most forces had failed to properly record child abuse. ‘A bloody disaster, frankly’. But Bedfordshire is different. They’re using artificial intelligence so police can spend more time hunting criminals.

‘I didn’t know about Louise Casey’s comments until you contacted us,’ says Trevor Rodenhurst, the chief constable of the county. That’s unsurprising. Rodenhurst is a busy man. We meet in his office on the outskirts of Bedford, under an official portrait of the King; behind his computer is his ceremonial tipstaff and photographs of his children.

Conrad Black: Destroying Hamas is Israel’s righteous cause

The Gaza War seems finally to be reaching its climax. On one side, Israel’s opponents are accusing it of genocide and of trying to starve the Palestinians into surrender and Britain, France, and Canada are recognizing the completely discredited Palestine Authority as a sovereign government of “Palestine.” On the other, Israel is finally assaulting the citadel of its terrorist opposition, the intense complex of tunnels and redoubts at the centre of the City of Gaza. There will obviously be a profound inquiry in Israel into every aspect of this war, once it is over, and particularly into why Israel was taken by surprise as it was, and why it has taken until now for the Israeli Defense Forces finally to assault the ultimate strong point of Hamas. The implicit assumption of most of Israel’s critics that the October 7 incident was merely another skirmish in a long-standing border dispute between the Jews and Arabs towards an eventual demarcation between a Jewish and an Arab state is bunk. This was not just another border incident, following Britain’s cavalier promise of 1917 of making Palestine a homeland for the Jews without compromising the rights of the Arabs.

Given that Canada among other Islamist states has recognized Palestine the Israelis should wage war as if no one is watching.
