L.A. School District to Ban Fifth-Grade Plays About U.S. History: ‘Culturally Insensitive‘

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is banning a celebrated series of fifth-grade musical plays about American history at a local charter school because, the district says, they are “culturally insensitive.”

For nearly three decades, the fifth-graders at Marquez Charter Elementary in Pacific Palisades have performed musicals about crucial periods in the formation of the United States.

The more ‘Culturally Insensitive‘ the better I always say.

Navy commander says Canada could end up with subs from two different suppliers

OTTAWA – Vice-Admiral Angus Topshee says the Royal Canadian Navy could end up with submarines supplied by both companies vying for Ottawa’s lucrative sub procurement contract — and there could be advantages to diversifying the fleet.

Topshee also says the simplest solution would be to operate 12 submarines from just one supplier, which would ensure all the parts and weapons systems are the same.

Topshee did not express a preference either way in a recent interview with The Canadian Press, saying it’s ultimately up to the federal government to decide.

12 subs? I’ll believe it when I see it.

UPDATE – Canada won’t split its submarine contract between suppliers: Carney

All About himself: Defiant, emotional Jimmy Kimmel returns to the airwaves as Trump bashes ABC for bringing ‘not funny’ late-night host back

A defiant and emotional Jimmy Kimmel failed yet again to apologize for his false and inflammatory comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination in the late-night show host’s return to the air Tuesday after spending nearly a week on the sidelines.

Kimmel attempted to clarify his past assertion that Kirk’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, was likely affiliated with the MAGA movement and teared up while praising the slain conservative activist’s wife, Erika Kirk, during his highly anticipated monologue.

Concordia’s woke student handbook wants you to celebrate Nakba Day, but not Christmas

Last week, Concordia student union undergraduate council member Anastasia Zorchinsky took to social media to voice her concerns about the school’s 2025-26 student handbook.

Such handbooks are supposed to include calendars and other useful information for students. But according to Zorchinsky, this year’s agenda doesn’t look like anything that should be handed out at a Canadian university.

Kamala Harris, Like The Rest Of Democrats, Remains Steeped In Anti-American Hate

If you look at the Google News alerts for Kamala Harris’ first national TV book tour interview from less than 24 hours ago, you’ll see the only thing of note to come out of it is that she sort of endorsed Democrat mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. Barely.

The interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, of all people, proved Kamala is still the same person she’s always been, which is to say vapid, visionless, and still faking an interest in governing. Nothing has changed, and neither has her party.

Betrayal of their flock: A Bishop’s rebuke to Anglican hierarchy who denounce Christians marching with Tommy Robinson

I WAS there. I stood at the front of the recent Unite the Kingdom event in London, and I led the prayers from the stage. I saw ordinary men and women – fathers carrying their children, pensioners gripping their sticks, young men and women lifting their voices – gathered not in hatred but in hope, not in rage but in resolve. I saw the cross of Christ raised aloft, not as a weapon of division but as a banner of faith.

Fentanyl Pill Raid in Okanagan, Near Falkland Superlab, Linked to Additives Found in U.S.–Mexico Border Seizures

KELOWNA — Six months ago, Canada Border Services officers intercepted a 20-kilogram shipment of caffeine powder mislabelled as white pigment — a break that set in motion an RCMP investigation into fentanyl trafficking in the desert-like hills above Kelowna, overlooking British Columbia’s Okanagan Lake. The lake, a summer playground for luxury speedboats and party crowds, lies just 100 kilometres south of Falkland, the site of Canada’s most notorious narcotics superlab dismantled in 2024.

Dearborn’s Downfall: Muslims now run Henry Ford’s hometown

Hamas Rally Dearborn Michigan

As I have been shouting from the rooftops (figuratively speaking) for a quarter of a century, there exist in Western Europe entire cities, and large sections of other cities, that are already effectively under Islamic control. Muslim leaders who at first, before their fellow believers had achieved dominance, played the victim and spoke of religious freedom and minority rights, now wield their power ruthlessly, imposing sharia law with increasing imperiousness and treating the non-Muslims among them the same way that infidels have always been treated in Islamic societies. In Bradford and Malmö, in the Stockholm neighborhood of Rinkeby and the Brussels neighborhood of Molenbeek, the future of Western Europe has already arrived, and it’s not a pretty sight.

Why the posh and prissy don’t do patriotism

A GQ feature on ‘What’s so great about Britain?’ unwittingly exposed the hulking class divide in the flags debate.

It seems members of the British establishment are getting it – albeit slowly. They haven’t quite learned their lesson yet about how the common people react, how they raise the flags and rally in defiance when they finally can’t take another decade of the liberal elite doing down the country they love. But they are getting there.
