US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has revealed she has decided to freeze her eggs, and has shared her first steps in the process on social media.

The 36-year-old New York Democrat posted the clips on Sunday, hours before telling ABC News’s This Week programme that she had not “ruled out the possibility” of running for president.

Over 80% of Canadian Parents Skip COVID Vaccine for Their Kids: Report

A large majority of Canadian parents did not vaccinate their kids against COVID-19 in the past year, according to a recent report by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). Previous PHAC data indicate the trend has continued years after pandemic-era vaccination campaigns ended.

The latest survey report released in March, as first covered by Blacklock’s Reporter, found that 81.7 percent of parents or guardians of children (under 18) said their kids had not received a COVID-19 shot in the previous year.

Driver denied car insurance over ‘Jesus loves you’ stickers

A driver has been denied car insurance because he put “Jesus loves you” stickers on his car.

Simeon Chandra was told his insurer had “declined the modification” and needed photographic evidence that they had been removed.

Photographs show the 35-year-old’s 2009 Nissan Pixo with the words “Jesus loves you” on one side, and “Jesus loves you v much” on the other.

Ottawa commissions project to track ‘news deserts’ in Canada

OTTAWA – The federal government is working on a project that would map out areas of Canada that lack local news coverage.

“Canadian Heritage has recently engaged a team of independent industry experts to develop a local news directory — a multi-phase, multi-year project that will ultimately measure the extent and spread of news deserts and areas of news poverty in Canada,” the department said in a December memo to the culture minister.

A woman detective has been sacked for gross misconduct and put on a blacklist alongside killer and rapist officers after calling out her force’s woke ideology.

Detective Constable Rachel Fletcher, 49, was reported by male colleagues for saying ‘c**ks in frocks’ to denounce Northumbria Police guidelines which permit biological men who identify as women to insist on being strip-searched by a female officer.

Ms Fletcher, a single mother-of-two, had been pivotal in ensuring Ross Jackson, a prolific paedophile, was caught and jailed for 23 years in Newcastle in February.

On July 20, Angus Reid released a poll titled “Wildfire fears burn hot, even as belief in climate change continues to decline.” Right from the get-go, they are conflating wildfires with climate change, something that not even the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) does.

Long-time climate policy analyst and prolific commentator, Roger Pielke, Jr., wrote “What the Media Won’t Tell You About…Wildfires.” In it, he states: “The IPCC has not detected or attributed fire occurrence or area burned to human-caused climate change.”

Trump’s new U.S. customs rules could upend Canadian exports

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Many Canadian exporters who have traded duty-free under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement are facing the threat of 50 per cent duties on their goods under Section 338 tariffs, which Washington is set to impose on hundreds of products starting August 19.

These firms may also need to increase their customs-bond coverage, which guarantees payment of duties and fees if an importer defaults, as higher tariffs increase the U.S. government’s exposure.
