Canada Post paid nearly $31 million in bonuses to managers last year despite posting a record $1.57-billion loss and warning Parliament the Crown corporation was on the verge of insolvency.

Ford wants changes after man living illegally in Canada found eligible for Ontario welfare

Ontario Premier Doug Ford says he will change provincial regulations if needed after learning that an immigrant living illegally in Canada for decades has been ruled eligible for social assistance benefits from Ontario.

Ford’s comments came in the form of a social media post on a case reported by National Post involving a man who said he came to Canada in 1997 on a temporary work permit. Although his permit expired after four years, he has been living here ever since.

This is the same guy who called us bigots for wanting mass immigration ended.

It’s only in the last few months that he has started to mimic a conservative politician again.

I do not trust him his polls must be bad.

The Scourge of Teen Takeovers

This past Memorial Day, more than 1,000 teens swarmed the blocks around Lake Michigan in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood. A resident described the scene: “Hundreds of people were walking and running down our street, jumping on top of cars, twerking, smoking blunts.” One group twerked on the top of a city bus.

At about 9 pm, the Chicago Police Department closed Lake Shore Drive. As sirens wailed, the Hyde Park resident armed himself with bear spray to retrieve something from his car. An hour later, a gunman shot three teens a block from the resident’s home. The suspect remains at large, though police made 13 arrests for illegal gun possession, battery of an officer, and other felonies.

Seems like an insurrection.

Another MASSIVE teen takeover in Hazel Crest, about 25 miles south of the Chicago Loop, with hundreds of teens causing havoc in a residential neighborhood by blocking streets and fighting.

According to a presidential decree issued on July 9, legislative elections are scheduled for November 28, 2026, while presidential elections are to follow during the first quarter of 2027. The decree calls on Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Jerusalem to participate in “free and direct” elections aimed at strengthening democracy.

Western governments and donors will undoubtedly welcome the announcement as a sign that Abbas is finally responding to long-standing demands for reform. They should not.
