Canadian Outlet Discloses Paid Deal With CCP-Controlled Broadcaster to Build Support for China’s Domestic Policies

OTTAWA – Canada’s new foreign influence registry has posted its first three registrants.

Among them is The Canada Files, a self-described socialist news organization covering Canadian foreign policy, which disclosed a paid arrangement with a Chinese state broadcaster to publish two sponsored videos intended to make Canadians more supportive of China’s handling of its domestic political affairs. Britain’s media regulator has found the broadcaster ultimately controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

Zelenskyy’s comparison of Canada to Ukraine is imperfect — but it matters

Zelenskyy’s comparison of Canada to Ukraine is imperfect — but it matters

There was something extraordinarily refreshing about listening to Volodymyr Zelenskyy say the quiet part out loud.

Asked to comment on the deteriorating relationship between Canada and the United States, the Ukrainian president described it as “strange” and “very dangerous” before drawing — arguably — an imperfect comparison with his country and Russia.

Both countries are run by anti-democratic grifters to start with.

Sunny Hostin Claims Hollywood Is Racist Against Her, Won’t Adapt Her Smut Books

Sunny Hostin Claims Hollywood Is Racist Against Her, Won’t Adapt Her Smut Books

Over their hiatus, it was announced that The View co-host Sunny Hostin has sold her likeness and the rights to smut books to be produced into a series of movies by a film company that utilizes A.I. On Friday’s episode, the ABC News co-host defended her actions by claiming Hollywood was “gatekeeping” her because they were racist, and suggested that black and brown people were not being hired for projects. However, her co-hosts pointed out the hypocrisy that by using fake people in her adaptations, she was keeping those same black and brown people from getting work.

‘Women’ Sure Are Getting Creepier Now That They Have Testicles

‘Women’ Sure Are Getting Creepier Now That They Have Testicles

We can either despair at the insanity that is pervading Western society, or we can be resolved to fight it.

What we can’t do, if we want to keep our souls, is concede to the people redefining what is real, what is not, and excusing evil based on novel interpretations of basic, undeniable facts.

Critical Theory exists to erase the distinction between what is real and what it’s advocates desire, and in doing so reshape the realm of the possible, the acceptable, and even what is celebrated.

European Parliament to open Ottawa office as Carney seeks ‘unique alliance’ with EU

European Parliament to open Ottawa office as Carney seeks ‘unique alliance’ with EU

The European Parliament, a key institution of the European Union, is set to open an “antenna” office in Canada’s national capital as Prime Minister Mark Carney looks to deepen ties with the 27-member bloc.

“Europe and Canada share values, interests and a commitment to the same rules-based international order. Our new presence in Ottawa will turn that partnership into even closer parliamentary co-operation,” Roberta Metsola, president of the European Parliament, said in a news release on Monday.

Ottawa would be the 10th city where such an office is located, according to the news release, and the third in North America after New York and Washington.

I don’t want to share anything with the EU.

The Cult of Sterility: How Modern Culture Declared War on Human Fecundity

The Cult of Sterility: How Modern Culture Declared War on Human Fecundity

With steady regularity, news items appear in mainstream publications discussing male sterilisation or, in the conveniently obscure medical jargon, vasectomies. Although “discussing” is a stretch: despite the obligatory caveats about pain and permanence, the tone is uniformly affirmative. In July of this year, an article on BBC News ran under the headline: ‘Why I don’t regret choosing a vasectomy in my 20s.’ In May, a Guardian headline read: ‘My first thought after having a vasectomy: why aren’t more men having them?’ The Independent topped them both: ‘Why getting a vasectomy has made me feel more of a man.’ Critical commentary, to the extent that it can be found, is tucked away in harmless Christian corners of the internet.

Canadian province’s experiment decriminalizing cocaine and fentanyl sensationally FAILS as overdose deaths stay the same

Canadian province’s experiment decriminalizing cocaine and fentanyl sensationally FAILS as overdose deaths stay the same

A Canadian province’s experiment decriminalizing fentanyl in an effort to drive down overdose fatalities has failed, with the death toll unchanged by the pilot scheme.

Politicians in British Columbia (BC) believed that legalizing the synthetic opioid, along with other hard drugs including heroin, methamphetamine and crack cocaine, would be a ‘critical step’ towards allowing users to seek help without fear of being detained.

Under the program, which launched January 2023, people found carrying drugs below the 2.5-gram threshold would be guided by police to social support services instead of being arrested or charged.

Black aggression on the road

Anecdotal evidence is still evidence—which is then almost always backed up by the data.

This morning while driving my son to school, I was behind someone who was driving like a total a-hole. He/she was speeding through the school zones (there’s three schools all on the same half-mile stretch of road), and he/she was absolutely riding the person in front. I made an educated guess, and predicted the driver was… black. And it turned out I was right: the driver was a black woman, and there were a couple of kids jumping around in the backseat, none of them buckled up.
