CSIS acting to prevent possible Iranian proxy attacks on U.S. targets in Canada, former spies say

Canada’s spy service will be alert to any Iranian attempts to direct its proxies in Canada to strike U.S. targets in this country if the United States attacks Iran, according to former top spies.

Two former assistant directors of operations at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service told The Globe and Mail Wednesday that Canada and other Western countries’ intelligence services have been working in concert to prevent Iranian attacks in Europe and North America.

Rubio vows US would respond ‘appropriately’ to Cuba killing 4 people on a Florida speedboat

Secretary of State Marco Rubio vowed the United States would get answers about a Cuba shootout that killed four people and injured six others aboard a speedboat from Florida.

“We’re going to find out exactly what happened and then we will respond accordingly,” Rubio said Wednesday while traveling to Saint Kitts and Nevis.

He conceded that “it is highly unusual to see shootouts in the open sea like that. That’s not something that happens every day.”

Iran ‘ready to spill American blood — even at a huge cost’

From his secret bunker last June, as Israeli missiles rained down on Tehran, Iran’s supreme leader issued an instruction he had never given before: to prepare for his succession. With the threat of decapitation strikes hanging over him, Ayatollah Khamenei drew up a secret list of three clerics who could take his place and told his assembly of experts to choose between them if he was killed.

It was the first of several key lessons the Islamic regime would take from that war as the prospect of another now looms. Khamenei also picked four layers of succession for all the military and civilian leaders he personally appoints: others beyond that circle were ordered to name their own four rungs of replacements.

U.S. Defeats Authoritarian Communists On The Ice, Again

The United States didn’t just win a hockey game this weekend; it had another miracle on ice. Forty-six years ago, exactly, the U.S. men’s hockey team beat the Soviet Union and went on to win the Olympic gold medal. This victory symbolized American resolve amid a prolonged Cold War and a decades-long ideological battle against communism. Nine years later, the Berlin Wall fell, and soon afterward, the Soviet Union collapsed.

While Canada is no Soviet Union, the United States under President Trump is once again demonstrating what freedom looks like. For decades, the Western elite, which includes Canada, has been on what F.A. Hayek referred to as the “Road to Serfdom.” According to Hayek, the more control the government has over the economy, the less liberty there will be. Like our Founding Fathers, Hayek believed that the government itself posed the greatest threat to individual liberty.

Hockey Loss Should Awaken Canada To Its Long-Running Anti-American Decline

In a healthy nation, Canada’s loss to the United States in the 2026 Olympic gold medal game would be only a disappointment. In Canada today, it feels like a verdict.

When a people that has systematically emptied politics, culture, and education of any serious aspiration to excellence discovers that even its last unquestioned superiority, hockey, no longer belongs to it, the sting is not merely athletic; it is spiritual. The game revealed what we have been at pains to avoid: Reality has returned, and it has no patience for our stubborn ideology.

Of course the US has its share of loons.

Pierre Poilievre’s anti-globalism is a tough sell in a Donald Trump world

Had Pierre Poilievre had won the last election, he would not have gone to Davos to address the World Economic Forum, as Mark Carney now famously did — to Donald Trump’s scorn and world acclaim.

The Conservative leader has promised for years to steer well clear of the annual gathering in Switzerland, and committed once again in the 2025 campaign to ban ministers from any participation in the forum.

So prime minister Poilievre would have missed the chance that Carney seized earlier this year to declare to Trump and the world that Canada is shifting its gaze to a future less dependent on a now unreliable ally.

China is reliantly totalitarian.

Tlaib Wears ‘F*** ICE’ Pin, Omar Screams, Dems Won’t Applaud Illegal Alien Crime Victims

You will be shocked to know that Democrats are despicable scumbags with no souls. And they are making that disturbingly clear at the State of the Union address.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Hades) is wearing a “F**k ICE” pin to Donald Trump’s State of the Union (SOTU) address, proving again how utterly trashy she is. I’ve seen sewers that are less full of crap than she is. She also screamed hysterically and vilely at Trump when he called out Democrats for supporting illegal alien killers and fraudsters, in which she was joined by fellow Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Hamas).

China to send Iran aircraft carrier killing missiles

Iran is close to buying a supersonic missile from China that could destroy American aircraft carriers.

Officials from the Islamic Republic are in advanced negotiations with Beijing to purchase the CM-302 cruise weapon, which is designed to damage warships, according to Reuters.

The news agency cited six sources as saying that negotiations, which began two years ago, sped up after the 12-day war between Israel and Iran last June.

China’s Biological Weapons Labs in America

China has been maintaining at least two facilities — one in California and the other in Nevada — that are part of a biological weapons program.

A Declaration of Arrest Report, issued by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in connection with the detention of Ori Solomon on January 31, states that there is a “deeper conspiracy” between an illegal biological lab in Reedley, California and a residence containing apparently dangerous substances in Nevada.

Trump threatens ‘obnoxious’ tariffs as UK and EU seek clarity on trade deals

Donald Trump has declared that he can use tariffs in a “much more powerful and obnoxious way”, as the UK and the EU said they were seeking urgent clarity on the US trade deals they struck last summer.

Trump threatened to escalate his global tariff war on Monday, after a supreme court ruling last week that he had overstepped his legal authority to impose his “liberation day” measures last year.

Keir Starmer’s spokesperson said he did not expect Trump’s new 15% global tariff – announced on Saturday – to affect the majority of a UK-US economic deal that was agreed last year.

Liberal Party Ratbags Will Assist Cuba’s Ratbag Communists To Maintain Power Over Oppressed Citizenry

Cuba A Communist Shithole serves as a role model for the Liberal Party of Canada

Canada plans to assist Cuba as Washington squeezes the island

…US President Donald Trump’s administration has moved to block all oil from reaching Cuba, including that from ally Venezuela, pushing up prices for food and transportation and prompting severe fuel shortages and hours of blackouts.

“We are preparing a plan to assist. We are not prepared at this point to provide any further details of an announcement,” Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand said on Monday, without giving details on what such an assistance will include.

China’s ‘Magic Weapon’ Reaches Deep Into America and the West

In 2023, the FBI arrested two Chinese-Americans, Lu Jianwang and Chen Jinping, for operating a Chinese police station in Manhattan. Chen pleaded guilty and faces up to five years in prison for acting as a Chinese agent, while Lu, who has connections to Chinese authorities, pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial. He faces 20 years for obstruction of justice.

According to the Department of Justice (DoJ), the police station was established to monitor and intimidate Chinese dissidents in the U.S. What is concerning, however, is that this is not an isolated case of serious infiltration. Nor is such activity limited to the U.S. alone. Safeguard Defenders, a Madrid-based NGO, has identified 102 Chinese police stations in 53 countries.

‘Scholar of the far right’ complains that move from US to Canada to flee Trump has backfired horribly

A self-proclaimed ‘scholar of the far right’ was blasted on social media after she ‘fled’ the United States to Canada.

Nope Brigade is an academic researcher who studies conservative and right-wing ideologies, and recently ‘fled’ from the current Trump administration to Vancouver – one of the world’s priciest cities.

Brigade posted a social media video begging for help after she and her family moved from Los Angeles, only to be hit with an even worse affordability crisis.

Alabama and Team USA defeat Canada

This was not a good weekend for those in Canada who suffer TDS. They made Sunday’s hockey match with Team USA all about politics and Canadian pride. The trash-talking turned to trash-eating. But I do congratulate Canada on its two silver medals in hockey—female and male. Maybe if we make it a best of the 57 genders tournament, Canada will beat Team USA.

Remember, not all Canadians suffer TDS. Sane Canadians realize it’s just a game they usually win. The last time the USA men’s team won was The Miracle on Ice. In all, Canadian men have 9 men’s team gold medals. The USA has 3.
