While many commentators have made good, well reasoned points about the incongruity of the maskless celebration of privilege, the flagrant hypocrisy and unselfconscious opulence of the occasion, I think the greatest irony has been, largely, missed.

Overlooked in Edward-Isaac Dovere’s much-discussed new book on the 2020 election, Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats’ Campaigns to Defeat Trump, released May 25, is his credulous account of Russian interference in the 2016 election. Relying heavily on Barack Obama’s key national security people, Dovere seems unaware that they have used him to launder their wretched history.

For much of Donald Trump’s presidency, Barack Obama largely abided by the convention that former presidents do not publicly criticize or attack their successors.
Obama jettisoned any such caution during the 2020 election that put his own vice-president, Joe Biden, in the White House. But behind the scenes, with donors and advisers, Obama was reportedly much more candid.
According to a new book, Obama called Trump a “madman”, a “racist, sexist pig”, “that fucking lunatic” and a “corrupt motherfucker”.
When former Vice President Joe Biden launched his presidential campaign in April 2019, it appeared that something about him had changed in the two years of his absence from the national stage. It was apparent, though perhaps not glaring, that his mental capacity had diminished. But, at that time, it was still possible to pass off his lapses as the gaffes he’d become so famous for.
By the early 2020 primaries, Biden’s cognitive decline had become more obvious. Still, the Democrats managed to carry him across the finish line.
Today, the signs of cognitive impairment are unmistakable. He is barely able to answer questions from the press, let alone to perform the tasks required of the presidency.
So, who is acting on his behalf? Who is actually running this country? Some might think it’s Vice President Kamala Harris or perhaps House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
But former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell believes it’s Susan Rice, who served as former President Barack Obama’s national security advisor.
Rice is Obama’s on-site enforcer.
Obama’s presidency ushered in a new way of doing business between Democrats and corporate America. Donations weren’t enough. Oversight and congressional hearings weren’t enough. This time the big guy would personally inject himself into every transaction and just like any classic movie mobster, President Obama reminded them once government was on the inside there would be no autonomy. They would play by his rules, or else.
Is it any surprise then, to see corporate America jumping through hoops to do Democrats’ political bidding today? It shouldn’t be. We’re reliving the beginning of the same movie we first watched twelve years ago. The same guy with the same ideology is in charge again. The only difference is this time we’re all supposed to pretend it’s the feeble old senator from Delaware running the meetings.

Anxious to get himself back in the spotlight, President Obama came out of his lair, and for the first time, touted support for reparations for black people, owing to the U.S. history of slavery.

If it’s good enough to impeach President Trump, it’s good enough to impeach Obama.
On May 31st, a violent Black Lives Matter mob burned American flags, threw bottles at police officers, and started a fire in the historic ‘Church of Presidents’ which had been visited by almost every president. Another building was set on fire, and windows across the area were smashed by the rampaging BLM mob wielding baseball bats, bricks, and even more lethal weapons.
Whatever the merits or lack thereof of Barack Obama’s presidency, he certainly leads all other presidents in the number of autobiographies he has written, with three compared to a number of his peers who are tied at one. However, his latest one, A Promised Land, is more than just an update on the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of the Most Undeservedly Celebrated Man on the Planet; it’s a full-on apologia for his policies as president, and a program for his impending third term, aka the Biden administration.
