“Mass Immigration – Follow the money”

The New York Times is trying to deport Tucker Carlson from his cable-TV job for the political crime of noticing mass migration hurts average Americans.

But the newspaper’s campaign to shut down Carlson’s televised debate on migration will fail because the reporters and editors cannot — or dare not — talk about Americans’ worry about migration economics. The editors’ refusal to engage with the voters about immigration’s economic reality still persists six years after Donald Trump cited those realities to get himself elected to the White House.

Many Freshii customers have already encountered “Percy.”

The video-calling device is attached to cash registers at a select few Freshii locations across Ontario, and it lights up when customers approach the counter.

On the other end of the screen is a cashier wearing a headset, ready to take orders. Unlike the Freshii workers that wrap burritos and mop floors, these “virtual” workers are nowhere near the store. Instead, at least some of them process orders from a Nicaraguan call centre nearly 6,000 km away, where they earn much less than Ontario’s minimum wage.

Don’t worry. With mass immigration people will be begging for less right here in Canada and Freshii will reshore.

Canada’s finance minister has described the country’s out-of-control housing prices as an “intergenerational injustice”, as political leaders struggle to rein in a spiralling affordability crisis.

Chrystia Freeland, who also serves as Canada’s deputy prime minister, said the issue is her top domestic concern.

… “We cannot have the fastest growing population in the G7 without also having the fastest growing housing stock,” she said.

And their intervention in the market is going to solve the problem they themselves created.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott wasn’t bluffing when he said he would bus illegal aliens dropped off by the federal government in small Texas communities to Washington, D.C. Apparently, DHS simply dropped the illegals off without warning and without asking permission. Many Texas towns were blindsided by Joe Biden’s “catch and release” policy and were begging Abbott for help.

Tech group wants new visa for skilled workers to enter country without a job offer

TORONTO – A group representing 150 of Canada’s fastest growing and most promising technology companies wants the federal government to pilot a new visa stream allowing high-skilled tech workers to enter the country without a job offer.

The visa proposed Thursday by the Council of Canadian Innovators would target in-demand professions like software developers and data scientists, allow recipients to work, switch jobs or employers and help them extend their stay and attain permanent residency without needing to switch into another visa category.
