Sometimes you have to fight to be a man

SO FAR, so good for the two Met police officers who gave a suspect a dose of boot leather to the head, after he (allegedly) stabbed two men in Golders Green, while already being pursued for an alleged knife attack earlier in the day.

I say this mindful of the ongoing trial after the clash between Muslim brothers and police officers at Manchester Airport, where there was an outbreak of mass hysteria after one officer also applied footwear to the cranium of his attacker and was promptly suspended. So far as I’ve seen, Met chief Mark Rowley hasn’t – yet – hung his Golders Green officers out to dry. Fingers crossed.

CSIS did not observe any violent extremist plots targeting the Muslim community last year, while multiple plots against Jewish people were foiled.

The Canadian Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS) says various evolving forms of violent extremism are becoming increasingly difficult to address and even understand, with secret and anonymous online radicalization challenging investigators’ ability to keep pace.

The agency’s annual report released Friday said violent extremism “continues to pose a significant threat to Canada’s national security and remains a critical operational priority for CSIS,” noting such extremism is “motivated by an increasingly diverse range of beliefs and convictions.”

A Daily Mail investigation has discovered that a primary school governor, secondary school teacher and recently retired university professor who are all Green party candidates in next week’s polls, face accusations of ‘gross anti-Semitism’.

They have posted or shared shocking images on social media variously including claims that the October 7 atrocities were either a ‘false flag’ [a covert Israeli operation] or self-defence on the part of the perpetrators and that a terrorist who stabbed two Jews to death in 2016 was a ‘martyr’.

Quebec mosque shooter wants to move to medium-security prison due to safety concerns

Alexandre Bissonnette, who pleaded guilty to killing six men at a Quebec City mosque in 2017 is requesting to be moved to a medium-security prison, citing safety concerns.

The gunman opened fire in the Islamic Cultural Centre in the Sainte-Foy neighbourhood nearly 10 years ago in an attack that left 19 injured and 17 children fatherless.

Bissonnette resided at the regional mental health centre in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Que., from 2019 to 2023. He has been serving a life sentence at the Port-Cartier Institution, a maximum-security prison, since September 2023, but his lawyer, Sylvie Bordelais, argues that he could remain in a medium-security facility, given the results of several psychological analyses conducted during his detention.

Green Party candidates arrested over anti-Semitism

Two Green Party candidates have been arrested on suspicion of stirring up racial hatred for allegedly posting anti-Semitic comments online.

Saiqa Ali, who is standing in Streatham, in the borough of Lambeth, and Sabine Mairey, the candidate for Clapham Town, also in Lambeth, were detained by Metropolitan Police officers on Thursday morning.

Sex Crime Rises Across Europe as Western Nations Top the List

New figures from Eurostat show that sexual violence offences across Europe continued to rise in 2024, with sharp differences between Western and Eastern countries likely to intensify debate over the link between crime and migration.

Police recorded 256,302 sexual violence offences in 2024, including 98,190 cases of rape. This represents a 5% increase in sexual violence overall and a 7% rise in rape compared with 2023.

Golders Green terrorist is Somalian Essa Suleiman who suffers “mental health issues” and is of course known to the counter-terror program

The BBC understands that the suspect being held after the Golders Green knife attack yesterday is 45-year-old Essa Suleiman from south-east London.

He was born in Somalia, but came to the UK as a child in the early 1990s. He came legally, and is now a British citizen.

The Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mark Rowley previously said he had a “history of serious violence and mental health issues.”

So just a regular Muslim then.

Hundreds of police raid Islamic sect based at former orphanage over allegations of rape, modern slavery and forced marriage

Hundreds of police officers have today raided an Islamic sect operating out of a heavily guarded former orphanage in Cheshire following allegations of rape, modern slavery and forced marriage.

The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL) was previously based in Sweden before relocating to Crewe in 2021, moving into a former orphanage.

But it has faced allegations that followers are asked to offer up their salaries or sell their possessions to contribute to the religious sect.

Two Jewish men stabbed in north London, with counter-terror police leading investigation

“At 11:16hrs on Wednesday 24 April, officers responded following reports of people stabbed in Highfield Avenue.

“Local officers and armed officers attended, alongside the London Ambulance Service.

“The suspect also attempted to stab police officers, and was Tasered before being arrested. No officers were injured.

DO NOT LOOK AWAY.

This is the footage captured by CCTV of the stabbing in Golders Green. It happens in a split second. No warning. No care in the world. The Muslim casually walks up to the visibly Jewish man, pulls out the knife, and just starts stabbing.

Earlier …. ‘Arson attack’ on memorial wall in Golders Green

Counter-terror police are investigating another arson attack in Golders Green, north London.

A memorial wall commemorating anti-regime protesters killed in Iran was targeted in the attack in the early hours of Monday morning.

The wall is outside a synagogue on Limes Avenue, in a largely Jewish area of north London. It follows another alleged arson attack that saw four Jewish community ambulances destroyed in Golders Green in late March.

Share of Muslim Pupils in Vienna Schools Rises to Over 41%

The share of Muslim students in Vienna’s primary and secondary schools has continued to rise, according to new official data.

Figures released by the office of education councillor Bettina Emmerling show that Muslim pupils now account for 41.2% of students, up from 39.4% a year earlier, making them the largest religious group in Vienna’s schools.

In comparison, 34.5% of students identify as Christian, including 17.5% Roman Catholic and 14.5% Orthodox. A further 23% reported no religious affiliation, while smaller shares belong to other faiths.
