An elected member of the Ontario legislature has invoked one of history’s most evil, murderous dictators to complain about the provincial government’s month-long shutdown to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Personally I believe the reaction to Hillier’s tweet is more “over the top” than the tweet itself.
Ontario is reporting 3,009 cases of #COVID19 today and 3,089 cases reported yesterday. Today, there are 954 new cases in Toronto, 434 in Peel, 348 in York Region, 205 in Ottawa and 146 in Hamilton.
Over 59,100 tests were completed on April 2nd and over 62,300 tests on April 1st.

Let’s be honest about the state of Ontario during this pandemic
When people tell you we have to listen to the science when it comes to COVID-19, there’s an expectation that science is pure and can’t be questioned.
Of course, science is never pure and should always be questioned, including when politics are involved.
