America First Legal is putting sanctuary jurisdictions on notice ahead of the mass deportation operation President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to carry out, beginning on Day One of his administration.

Tom Homan, President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming border czar, did not mince words during a recent interview in which he blasted New York Gov. Kathy Hochul over a “tone-deaf” social media post she wrote shortly after the news broke about an illegal immigrant setting a woman on fire in a New York City subway.

President Trump, and his nominee for “Border Czar,” Tom Homan, have made it clear they are dead-serious about deporting millions of violent criminals who are also criminal aliens.

They intend to start with the nearly 1.5 million criminal aliens already served with Orders of Deportation who have either not left America or who have snuck back in across Biden’s remarkably porous border over the past four years. Their initial target, according to Vice President-elect J.D.Vance, will be 1.0 million criminal aliens per year, focusing on those already legally ordered to leave America and not return.

The sheriff of San Diego county defied a new policy limiting county cooperation with federal immigration authorities, setting up a showdown over California’s efforts to shield residents from Donald Trump’s mass deportation plans.

On Tuesday, San Diego county supervisors voted to prohibit its sheriff’s department from working with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) on the federal agency’s enforcement of civil immigration laws, including those that allow for deportations.

California law already generally prohibits cooperation but makes exceptions for those convicted of certain violent crimes. The new policy brings San Diego in line with seven other counties in California, including Los Angeles, the nation’s largest, which recently adopted a policy that goes beyond state law.

After allegedly being imprisoned, beaten and raped, the woman needed help to make it across the lobby of the hotel so she could finally escape.

Emerging into downtown El Paso, court documents state, she made her way to an immigration centre, where she readily admitted to a US Border Patrol agent that she had crossed illegally into the country from Mexico just months earlier.

Some time after arriving in the city in southern Texas, she told investigators, she had been drugged, assaulted, and forced into prostitution by a woman called Estefania Primera.

Mexican immigration authorities dissolved one of the large migrant caravans moving through southern Mexico as they provided the group with bus transportation to other parts of Mexico and promised to help them with their paperwork. The move comes soon after Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum had phone calls with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump over the threats of tariffs if Mexico does not halt the flow of drugs, migrants, and asylum seekers headed north.
