One might be tempted to dismiss them as ethically compromised, duping the gullible for personal benefit, but they’re something more than that: symbols of each generation’s hopes and anxieties.
Police northwest of Edmonton say they are investigating after three men were seen holding up what authorities are calling “racially motivated” signs by the side of the road Saturday.
Photos posted online by the mayor of St. Albert show the men — dressed in black and their faces covered — holding up signs that read “White Lives Matter” and “Deport Them All.”
Mounties say no arrests were made and the individuals left the area after they were cautioned by police about creating a disturbance for drivers on the road.
Now St. Albert RCMP say they are investigating the incident, with help from the Alberta RCMP hate crimes coordinator.

Academic performance is down in Ontario – by a lot.
According to results from the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), from 2003 to 2022 (the latest year of PISA data), math test scores in Ontario declined by 35 points and reading scores declined by 12 points.
To put this in perspective, PISA equates 20 points with approximately one grade level. So, Ontario students are nearly two grades behind in their math skills, and more than half a grade behind in their reading skills, than they were in 2003.
I blame the parents who treat their child’s education as nothing more than daycare.
Every strike results in capitulation to the teacher’s unions because parents demand a “solution” to their babysitting problem.
What do they get in return? Schools run by overpaid perverts unfit for any job.

A Toronto District School Board (TDSB) committee has voted in favour of asking the province to put in place diversity, equity, and anti-racism certification for all Ontario teachers. The motion will now be referred to trustees at the regular board meeting on Jan. 22 for approval.
The motion was brought forward at a Jan. 16 meeting of the Program and School Services Committee by trustees Deborah Williams and Debbie King on behalf of student trustee Angelika Bell.

Anita Dressler expressed the wrong opinion and was fired by the City of Toronto.
The loss of income doesn’t bother her – she was a volunteer.
Dressler does and doesn’t like to talk about her six decades or so of volunteer work. She cherishes the connections she’s made and loves knowing she’s helped many people, but hates to think she’d be seen as a braggart.

New York Times columnist Charles Blow joined MSNBC’s Joy Reid on Thursday’s installment of The ReidOut to react to the reaction to the New Orleans New Year’s truck attack by an ISIS supporter that killed 14 people where he claimed that the big problem is that the attack was “one crime committed by one name that sounds exotic,” and that allows people to ignore the “really big problem, which is young white men in America.”

A Wisconsin mom has accused her dyslexic son’s school of denying him additional support because he is white.
Colbey Decker said Green Bay Area School district is discriminating against her child by prioritizing racial minority students for access to special education services.
According to The Telegraph, Ms Decker said in a letter threatening legal action last week that her son, who is in the fourth grade, was denied entry to his school’s literacy program for almost a year because he was not part of a racial minority.
This sort of thing keeps cropping up.
In the wake of the Daniel Penny verdict, the soon to be departing, progressive member of Congress Jamaal Bowman addressed a thread on X to “Dear White People.”
What followed was typical dreck. “I don’t know why I feel the need to keep talking to you,” Bowman opened his missive. “I don’t know why part of me still has hope for you and for us.”
What was most notable about this sorry little exercise was that Bowman thought writing a note to “white people” made sense in the first place. It’s a little like beginning a letter, “Dear Earthlings.”

Coined “Superdiversity,” the project crunches immigration and census data into interactive graphics and maps that showcase Canada’s changing landscapes and how socioeconomic indicators such as wealth, income, employment status and education play out across ethnic groups, generations of newcomers and neighbourhoods.
Diversity is code for anti-white racism in Canada and has turned a once great nation into a balkanized low trust society of 5th column imported sectarian hatreds. The Star hates you.
