CDC Recognizes Detransitioning As Official Condition, Opens Door To Medical Treatment For Mutilated Kids

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in October will start recognizing detransitioning — reversing gender “transition” mutilation — in official diagnosis codes for purposes of insurance billing and data collection.

Vice President J.D. Vance last week called for the jailing of medical professionals fraudulently using medical billing codes to get insurance to cover the castration and genital mutilation of children claiming to be “transgender.” But on the other side of that issue are the thousands of young people who were brutally maimed by predator doctors and have little recourse to try to reverse some of the interventions.

And in these times of Muslims also becoming part of our political community, of the strife in the Middle East, and the ongoing conflicts in Muslim-majority countries, there is no sign of relationships improving.

The number of Americans seeking Canadian citizenship certificates continues to surge, with new data suggesting almost half of people approved for proof of citizenship since December were born in the U.S.

A recent update on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website reads: “Applications for Canadian citizenship certificates are rising rapidly across the globe, driven in large part by thousands of requests submitted from the United States. Following a change in the law, the volume of submissions has grown substantially, putting pressure on federal processing streams.”

But after a year and a half of asylum proceedings, the applicant was met with rejection: just a couple of weeks ago, the Federal Court issued a decision green-lighting the individual’s deportation.

A Western Sydney council has rejected an application to broadcast the Muslim call to prayer from a mosque over concerns it would create too much noise in the neighbourhood.

Canterbury-Bankstown Council rejected the proposal, which sought permission for the call to prayer to be broadcast at Australia’s largest mosque.

Lakemba Mosque in NSW had requested permission for the broadcast to take place once a week on Fridays for 15 minutes using four loudspeakers.

For some Canadian businesses facing a 50 per cent U.S. tariff kicking in at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, the pain is already being felt.

The new tariff, on $28 billion of goods ranging from hockey sticks to dairy products, electronics and wooden doors, is the latest salvo in a trade war initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump.

The mere threat of the tariff has already been enough to scare off some U.S. customers from continuing to place orders with Canadian suppliers, said Dan Kelly, CEO of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.

79% of young women in the Netherlands still feel unsafe walking alone at night, a year after the murder of 17-year-old Lisa by an African migrant.

According to a new survey of 1,400 people aged 16 to 34, 78% of young women had also experienced sexual harassment on the street during the past year.

Lisa was fatally stabbed in the early hours of August 20, 2025 as she cycled home from Amsterdam.

Cambridge University-linked project erases Israel

An academic project hosted by Cambridge University promotes an “Islamic curriculum” which tells 12-year-olds that Hamas is an “excuse that Israel uses to justify its attacks on the Gaza Strip,” calls the civilian hostages taken by the terror group on October 7 “prisoners of war” and publishes in pupils’ course material a map of the region from which Israel has been erased.

The project also publishes a guide aimed at parents and children, written after the attacks, which asks: “What is the reward of a shaheed [a martyr]? How does this make you feel when you think of all the children of Gaza who are now shuhada [martyrs]?” and states, quoting the Quran: “Never say that those martyred in the cause of Allah are dead – in fact, they are alive but you do not perceive it.”

Cool Hand Luke came out a bit before my time, and while I’ve watched it a handful of times, I can’t say I really understood it. Maybe there wasn’t much to understand. Paul Newman’s character was sold as something of an iconoclastic Everyman, a guy who’d decided he’d had enough of society and wasn’t going to take any more. To me, he just came off as a stupid criminal.
