Can the Great ‘Awokening’ Succeed?

Wokeism is creating a future group of politically incorrect Trotskyites on a proverbial rendezvous with a Mexican ice pick, given that by birth they will never be woke enough for the new Stalinism.

We all know that we are living in revolutionary times. The origins, ascendence, values, laws, and future of the United States are all under assault by self-described, though accurately described, revolutionaries.

It is a Jacobin, Bolshevik, or Maoist moment. All aspects of life, well beyond politics, are now to be ideologically conditioned. Everything from kindergarten messaging, cartoons, workplace reeducation, and television commercials to college admissions, baseball games, and the airlines are to be “fundamentally transformed” along racial lines.

Navy ships capture video of pyramid-shaped UFOs, orbs flying above

Navy ships capture video of pyramid-shaped UFOs, orbs flying above

The Pentagon has admitted that a US Navy destroyer captured this eerie night-vision footage of mysterious flashing objects flying above it and another warship.

“It is noted that the ‘spherical’ craft was suspected to be a transmedium vehicle and was observed descending into the water without destruction,” Corbell said, according to the news outlet.

“It is noted that the ‘spherical’ craft could not be found upon entry to the water — and that a submarine was used in the search,” he added.

Why don’t they shoot them down?

BONOKOSKI: The COVID-19 news just keeps on getting worse

There is such a thing as a COVID Misery Index, developed by the brains at the non-partisan Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI), a think-tank that does the hard slog for those of us with lesser IQs.

Its latest index update, though, should surprise no one. The MLI has determined that “slow vaccinations have led to Canada’s excess death rate surging past the United States.”

Letting Hunter Biden Off Is A Message To Us Peasants

Letting Hunter Biden Off Is A Message To Us Peasants

The fact that the loser spawn of Grandpa Badfinger is thumbing his coke-caked nose at the justice system represents not merely the tacky machinations of a crusty pol protecting the family Fredo. It has a deeper and more cynical purpose – to show us that our overlords are unaccountable and that the law is now merely another implement in the regime’s toolkit of oppression. They are telling us that they and their scumbag progeny can do whatever they want, but that we can’t.

Is the Pope a Chinese asset?

The Pontiff has kowtowed to Beijing

Twenty years ago, the Catholics of a city in Alaska gathered enough money to build a church dedicated to the Sacred Heart. They presented the architectural drawings to the city council, whose non-Catholic members winced a bit. Were Gothic arches really meant to be painted the color of pale strawberries? Why were the bell towers capped with domes in cotton-candy stripes? But, what the hell, Catholics have their own funny ideas about what churches should look like.

Officer intended to draw her taser in Daunte Wright shooting

Uh oh. The questions around the shooting last night in the Twin Cities will only multiply after this explanation — and indeed already have. The chief of the Brooklyn Center police department decided on his own to release the body-cam video of the incident that touched off riots at a press conference this afternoon. Chief Tim Gannon told reporters that the officer drew the wrong weapon, intending to tase Wright rather than shoot him…

More… Chief: Officer meant to use Taser, not firearm, on Daunte Wright

The police officer who fatally shot a man during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center on Sunday appeared to do so accidentally, intending to fire her Taser, not her gun, Police Chief Tim Gannon said Monday.

Gannon made the assertion as the department released a body camera video that appeared to show the officer shouting, “Taser! Taser!” before she fired her gun, hitting Daunte Wright, 20.

“It is my belief that the officer had their intention to deploy the Taser but instead shot Mr. Wright with a single bullet,” the chief said during a packed news conference. “This appears to me, from what I viewed, and the officer’s reaction and distress immediately after, that this was an accidental discharge that resulted in a tragic death of Mr. Wright.”

In Chauvin Trial, BLM Mob Justice Comes Full Circle

There will be no Juror #8.

The BLM website tells us that in 2013 “three radical Black organizers — Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi — created a Black-centered political will and movement building project called #BlackLivesMatter.”

On the website, to this day, the organizers proudly share the inspiration for the group’s creation: “It was in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer, George Zimmerman.” The critical word here is “murderer.” An all-female jury believed rightly that Zimmerman shot Martin in self-defense and acquitted him of all charges, including murder. Their judgment simply did not matter to the three women who founded BLM.

Richmond’s Rage of the Woke

The city’s iconoclastic frenzy, supported by local leaders, has left a historic avenue with stumps and graffiti.

Beautifully landscaped with ample medians and harmoniously lined with gracious houses in various historic styles, Richmond, Virginia’s block-paved Monument Avenue and its several statuary tributes to Confederate leaders were once recognized as a triumph of American urban design. The residential frontages served admirably as a variegated frame for the monuments, creating a superb urban tableau that it made no sense to eradicate—especially as the monuments lost ideological currency with the passage of time, as monuments often do.

Germany’s AfD opposition party embraces ‘Dexit’ and will campaign to leave EU

Members of Germany’s largest opposition party have voted on their new election manifesto. The far-right Alternativ für Deutschland (AfD) will run on an anti-lockdown, anti-immigration and anti-EU platform, under the slogan “Germany. But normal.”

The so-called “Dexit” policy emerged at a two-day conference to firm up its strategy ahead of Germany’s general election in September.
