Canada urged to open up new permanent resident program to all temporary workers

With so many temporary residents running out of legal status this year, Ottawa has been urged to immediately release details on an announced program that’s meant to grant permanent status to migrant workers in limbo — and make sure the process is fair and inclusive.

Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab has been in the hot seat, accused of failing to promptly and properly communicate about the highly anticipated program to transition temporary foreign workers with expiring permits to permanent residence.

Islamist Influence in Germany: Neukölln Broadcast Raises Alarm

Islamist Influence in Germany: Neukölln Broadcast Raises Alarm

A German television report and an Austrian court ruling have sparked renewed debate in Europe over the role of Sharia law and fears of “parallel justice” systems operating alongside national legal frameworks.

In Germany, a report broadcast by ARD in its programme “KLAR” examined attitudes among young men in Berlin-Neukölln regarding Sharia and German law. In street interviews, some respondents said they would prioritise Sharia over state law, with one stating “Sharia, of course” when asked which should apply.

Success rate for basic training in Canadian military drops

The success rate for basic training in the Canadian military has dropped to 77 per cent over the past fiscal year as the Canadian Armed Forces grapple with the impact of recruiting changes designed to boost enrolment, according to a leaked internal report.

That compares with a historical average of 85 per cent, according to an internal January, 2026, report by Lieutenant-Colonel Marc Kieley, commandant of the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School (CFLRS) in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que.

Canada risks losing its history

Canada risks losing its history

There were bonfires behind the Saskatchewan Legislature on the night of June 15, 1944. Earlier that day, the upstart Co-operative Commonwealth Federation Party had stormed to victory in the provincial election, and the defeated Liberal government responded by destroying papers and files in burning barrels. Not a single government document – except for two pages missed in the commotion – survived the culling.

The extent of the document purge was not fully appreciated until the new CCF administration found empty filing cabinets in government offices. New premier Tommy Douglas was furious. The first few weeks after the election were chaotic, Mr. Douglas recalled, but what made it worse was not having access to government records “in order to pick up where somebody has left off.”

New Report Reveals 5 Shocking Examples Of Biden DOJ’s Anti-Christian Bias

The Biden administration sought to target and prosecute Christians, going so far as to allegedly withhold evidence for pro-life defendants, a new report from the Justice Department reveals.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement that the “Biden Administration’s actions devastated the lives of many Christian Americans.”

“No American should live in fear that the federal government will punish them for their faith,” he noted.

Canadian Media Risks Complicity in Floor-Crossing “Conspiracy”

OTTAWA – J.J. McCullough — one of the most-read Canadian voices on politics — posted a thought this week that I’ve also been hammering in reporting and podcasting this year.

“I do not think the Liberal Party should be engaged in an ongoing backroom conspiracy to undo the stated partisan preferences of voters, or indeed elected politicians themselves,” he wrote, on Mark Carney’s unprecedented scheme of inducements to secure a majority government. “And I think the press should start reporting on this as an organized conspiracy, not fun Ottawa drama.”

Carney accelerates Canada’s fiscal collapse

Carney accelerates Canada’s fiscal collapse

To get straight to the point about the federal government’s spring economic update: the Liberals are spending even more of our money than they previously estimated. This fiscal year, program spending is now expected to be $536.2 billion, which is $7.6 billion higher than in the fall budget. The new spending projections for the following year are also higher than in the fall budget, and the same for the year after that, and even the year after that. All told, the Liberals’ economic update raises program spending by a cumulative $25 billion over four years versus their fall budget and they now propose to push spending to $575.4 billion by 2029-30.

Japan: Thousands Protest Mosque Construction, Muslim Burial Project Also Halted

That the Japanese will not allow pro-jihad, pro-Sharia elements to take over their country in the name of diversity and political correctness is clearly evident from a wave of viral videos showing large crowds in Fujisawa taking to the streets to oppose a proposed mosque project which is expected to be one of the largest mosques in the area.

Donald Trump is not an aberration. He is America

Donald Trump is not an aberration. He is America

In the United States, mass protests against authoritarianism are gathering under the banner “No Kings.” These rebukes allege that Donald Trump is something “un-American”: a king.

Supposedly, America is the land that does not have kings. America is said to represent freedom, opposing the authoritarian oppression that monarchs can signify. The protesters’ thinking goes like this: Get rid of Mr. Trump, America’s King, and the United States would again become “the land of the free,” because America is freedom and kings are tyrants.

Woke Midwest city spends $18,000 of taxpayer cash removing neighborhood watch signs after lawmakers branded them RACIST

Liberal lawmakers of a city in Michigan spent thousands of taxpayers’ dollars to rip out neighborhood watch signs after labeling them racist.

Ann Arbor officials posted a video on Wednesday of the last of 600 signs being torn down as they explained how they want the city to be a place of inclusivity.

‘Frankly, neighborhood watch signs are expressions of exclusion, and they’re inconsistent with our values,’ said Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor.
