Home Secretary Priti Patel has announced she is seeking to declare the whole of Palestinian militant group Hamas a terrorist organisation.
The military wing of the group which controls Gaza is already proscribed a terrorist organisation by the UK.
However, the change will also cover the Islamist movement’s political wing.
It is a criminal offence to belong to or invite support for a proscribed organisation or wear clothing which could be seen to support the group.
The verdict is in and the trial is over. Kyle Rittenhouse has been judged not guilty on all counts in connection to the shooting in Kenosha, WI. As you might have expected, the left wasn’t too happy about the jury’s decision.

Management at Chapman’s, Canada’s largest independent ice-cream manufacturer, say they’re trying to reward staff who have “done the right thing” by getting vaccinated with a $1 per hour pay rise, rather than enforcing a hardline vaccine policy.

President Biden is ‘angry and concerned’ after Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges Friday, but says he stands by the jury’s decision.
The president weighed in on the divisive, high-profile case hours after the verdict was read, telling reporters, ‘I stand with the jury as the jury system has concluded. The jury system works and you have to abide by it.’

Palestinian Islamist group Hamas has called on Canadian singer Justin Bieber to cancel his upcoming concert in what it calls the “Zionist occupation state” of Israel.
Bieber announced his 2022 world tour dates this week, with a concert in Tel Aviv planned for next October. On Thursday, Hamas’ Artistic Production Department issued a statement, cited by the Palestinian Sawa news outlet, “condemning and denouncing” the performer. It called on the star to cancel the show and “boycott the Zionist occupation state in protest at its repeated crimes against the Palestinian people.”
A viral video shows a Candian teacher named Marlene Brod, who has been teaching students for almost 35 years, leaving her school after allegedly being fired for refusing to get a COVID-19 rapid test as required by the district.
Brod tearfully broke down when asked why she was leaving the school early on Thursday.
