Biden’s Two-Faced Agenda on Turkey

U.S. President Joe Biden’s increasingly hypocritical policy on NATO’s increasingly difficult ally, Turkey, is badly zig-zagging between the U.S. leader’s self-declared advocacy for universal democratic values and Biden’s secret agenda, which he prefers dishonestly to hide: appeasing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan behind closed doors and condemning Turkey’s democratic deficit in public. In less than two years Biden has swung from a pledge to oust Turkey’s autocratic leader to appeasing him behind closed doors.

‘Tiny Terrorist’ faked making progress in jail’s deradicalisation program so she could secretly plan another ISIS-inspired attack behind bars

A convicted terrorist serving a four-decade sentence pretended a Victorian jail’s deradicalisation program had worked so she could secretly plan another attack.

Momena Shoma, nicknamed the Tiny Terrorist over an Islamic State-inspired stabbing attack on a homestay host in 2018, had another six years added to her sentence on Friday over a separate attack, taking the total to 48 years.

She’ll have to serve at least 36 years, meaning she won’t be eligible for release until 2054.

Tory MPs Concerned About Liberal Plan to Axe Charitable Status of Pro-Life Pregnancy Centres

Some Conservative MPs and others are voicing their opposition to the government’s plan to eliminate charitable status for pro-life pregnancy centres, with some expressing concern that other organizations could be affected when the policy is implemented.

“They’re falsely claiming that these pregnancy centres are actively working to spread misinformation about abortion and putting health and safety of young people and vulnerable women at risk. That’s their argument when it’s antithetical to the reality, the truth of the whole situation,” Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall told The Epoch Times.

I wonder what O’Toole thinks?

Xinjiang: Twitter closes thousands of China state-linked accounts spreading propaganda

Twitter has shut down thousands of state-linked accounts in China that seek to counter evidence of human rights abuses in Xinjiang, as part of what experts called an “embarrassingly” produced propaganda operation.

The operations used photos and images, shell and potentially automated accounts, and fake Uyghur profiles, to disseminate state propaganda and fake testimonials about their happy lives in the region, seeking to dispel evidence of a years-long campaign of oppression, with mass internments, re-education programs, and allegations of forced labour and sterilisation.

“Fruity Ass” relevance in dispute: Jussie Smollett’s lawyers claim judge ‘lunged’ at one of them, ask for a mistrial

CHICAGO — Jussie Smollett’s attorneys asked for a mistrial Thursday after the judge called their evidence irrelevant in front of the jury and “physically lunged” at one of the actor’s lawyers.

The odd fracas came in the midst of the defense’s cross-examination of Olabinjo Osundairo, who claims he was paid to help Smollett stage the hate crime, as attorney Tamara Walker grilled him about his alleged homophobia and past derogatory remarks toward suspected gay men.

Osundairo, 30, had just acknowledged he used the word “fruity ass” to refer to a man he suspected was gay and Walker asked if Smollett, who is openly gay, knew he’d said such things in the past.
