Democrats melt down after CNN hosts criticize Biden speech

Democrats had an online meltdown after hosts from their leftist network CNN dared question President Biden’s use of the military during his fiery primetime attack on his Republican rivals.

Hosts Brianna Keilar and Jeff Zeleny were just a few of the people upset at the commander-in-chief using Marines to back him during his speech — sparking demands for their axing and an outright boycott of the left-wing network.

“You are clearly a shill for the RNC,” one person whose Twitter bio includes a #BidenHarris2020 hashtag tweeted Zeleny just for saying that using the Marine Band was “a break with White House traditions.”

Let them eat bugs: UK urges hunger-stricken African nations to farm insects

UK aid spending is encouraging hunger-stricken Africans to eat insects, with projects aiming to develop the practice in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zimbabwe.

Edible insects have long been touted as a resource-efficient source of protein, requiring less land and water than conventional livestock. However, taste and cultural resistance have proved to be stumbling blocks in extending the practice in many parts of the world.

In a move to realise the substantial on-paper benefits of insect-eating, a £50,000 UK aid project in the DRC is putting African caterpillars, migratory locusts and black soldier flies on the menu.

Governments encouraging the Eating of Bugs is a conspiracy according to the CBC.

Ukraine, Russia trade blame over nuclear plant as UN experts investigate

ZAPORIZHZHIA, Ukraine, Sept 2 (Reuters) – Ukraine and Russia traded accusations over each others’ actions around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant on Friday as a team of inspectors from the UN nuclear watchdog tried to check the safety of the facility and avert a potential disaster.

Ukraine’s state nuclear company said the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission had not been allowed to enter the plant’s crisis centre, where Ukraine says Russian troops are stationed, and would struggle to make an impartial assessment.

Many Americans still aren’t coming to Trudeau’s Hermit Kingdom of Canada. Is the ArriveCAN app to blame?

Post-pandemic, tourists have returned to Niagara Falls.

But something’s missing — a lot of Americans, even though the popular Ontario tourist destination sits right next to the U.S. border.

“It’s devastating,” said Anna Pierce, vice president of Niagara Helicopters, which offers rides over the falls.

Pierce says bookings are down 35 per cent this summer compared to the summer of 2019, largely due to the lack of American tourists.

Universities mandating masks on campus at this point is silly and mandating vaccine boosters is unethical. Here’s why: Imagine a hypothetic group of five students, discussing the recent mask and booster mandate introduced at Ontario’s Western University.

‘Salad-bar’ extremism on the rise in Canada, report says … Did Trudeau finally unify something?

… Mike King, director of research at the OPV, said that in the past, there were many distinct ideologies, listing examples such as white supremacy, anti-government extremism and left-wing extremism and extreme misogyny.

“Now we’re seeing more and more blurred planes between these ideologies where people are kind of picking and choosing portions of the same ideologies, and putting them together and almost kind of having a tailored extremist ideology of their own,” he said.

I suggest that the despicable Justin Trudeau has united extremists of all stripes.

I never heard of OPV, I bet it’s tax payer supported. “Hate” has been made a lucrative gig by Justin being both target and funder.

‘He must be insane, or suffering from late stage dementia!’ Trump slams Biden after ‘awkward and angry’ Philadelphia speech

Donald Trump launched a seething attack on President Joe Biden where he branded him ‘insane’ and asked if he was ‘suffering from late stage dementia’ after the president claimed he was a ‘threat to democracy’.

The furious former president took to his Truth Social account to slam the ‘awkward and angry’ speech outside Independence Hall in Philadelphia – and called on someone to explain to his successor what MAGA means, ‘slowly but passionately’.

The late night rant also saw him accuse the 79-year-old of ‘threatening America, including with the possible use of military force’ as he fought back at the brutal address to the nation.

Russia’s Stranglehold On The World’s Nuclear Power Cycle

Since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, several packages of sanctions targeting Russia’s lucrative energy industry (mostly oil, gas, and coal) have been introduced by the United States, the European Union, and other Western nations. These countries are also undertaking efforts to wean themselves off their dependency on Russian energy supplies.

After shelling occurred near Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhya power plant, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy called on the international community to come up with a stronger response and ban Russian imports from yet another sector: nuclear power. But blocking and replacing Russia’s deliveries of uranium, reactors, and nuclear technology to the rest of the world is easier said than done.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says that the solution to protect politicians from public confrontations is not necessarily to increase security around them, but rather to have more respect in the political arena.
