‘You Can’t Go Home Again,’ Say Canadian Expatriate Doctors

Doctor shortages have reached a critical level in Canada. At last estimate, the country produces 17 new doctors per 100,000 people annually, meaning that millions of people lack access to a regular provider.
Structural factors may be contributing to the physician shortage. Residency slots are limited, some provinces have strict medical licensing requirements that include extra fees and arduous application processes, and practice eligibility requirements can become expensive. The situation is challenging for Canadians who have a passion for medicine but few options other than to seek education, residency spots, and jobs abroad.
Update on Huntingdon Train Mass Stabbing Attack

Passengers travelling from Doncaster to London were attacked in a mass stabbing on a train on Saturday night.
Eleven people were injured and received hospital treatment. Two of them remain in a life-threatening condition.
Two British men in their thirties were arrested and police said there was currently “nothing to suggest” it was a terror incident.
… Supt John Loveless of the British Transport Police said two UK nationals were arrested.
The men, aged 32 and 35, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Police said the 32-year-old man is a black British national and the 35-year-old is a British national of Caribbean descent.
The police have confirmed that the two men arrested for the Huntingdon massacre are black men aged 32 and 35.
The police stress that they were born in Britain as if that somehow means we should not think about this in immigration terms.
Fuck that. They never belonged here. pic.twitter.com/TgpCIM1VkA

New Data Vindicates Critics of Canada’s High Immigration Levels

Almost exactly one year ago, the federal government caved to rising opposition towards high immigration and announced a plan to hit the brakes and temporarily “pause population growth.” New data is now revealing that the Canadian public is reaping economic dividends from this immigration cut, confirming what opponents of high immigration have said all along.
Zero Immigration and remigration of the 3rd World malcontents should be the law.
HORTON: Possible Christmas election — Will a Liberal ‘austerity’ budget trigger a snap election?

According to Conservative House Leader Andrew Scheer, the Conservatives believe the Liberals are preparing to table a budget that will almost certainly be voted down. Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne is set to unveil the Liberals’ first official budget next week, and early rumours — particularly through Liberal-friendly media outlets like CBC — suggest that it will feature targeted investments for Canadian workers impacted by ongoing US–Canada trade disputes. An area where Carney has been “elbows down,” demonstrating immense difficulty securing trade terms favourable to Canada. The budget is also alleged to focus on housing and the military.
The U.S. Conference Of Catholic Bishops Needs To Stop Apologizing For Islam

Earlier this month, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) published “Islamophobia: A Guide for U.S. Catholics on Anti-Muslim Bigotry.” Showcased on the USCCB website with a lovely Islamic design cover, this 15-page booklet exhorts Catholics to “address the disturbing phenomenon of anti-Muslim sentiment in our times.”
Introduced by the co-chairs of the National Catholic-Muslim Dialogue (NCMD) — Bishop Elias Lorenzo of Newark and Imam Kareem Irfan — the USCCB declares dire need to counter “the rising tide of anti-Muslim sentiment that has been present for decades.”
Michelle The Ingrate

Is there anyone in the public eye less grateful than Michelle Obama? Good grief.
She makes it sound like the worst thing in the world to endure was being First Lady. Wait, no. Being married. No, wait. Having children. Wait, no. Being a woman. Heck, she’s even bitter about her hair.
Leader of Chinese Chamber Linked to RCMP ‘Police Station’ Probe Was Sought by Japan for Triple Murder Questioning, Tied to Synthetic Drug Investigations

TORONTO — Four years after the RCMP first announced investigations into alleged clandestine Chinese “police stations” in Toronto, The Bureau has learned that a Fujian business leader listed as a key principal for the Markham clubhouse under investigation was previously the subject of major narcotics, organized-crime, and triple-murder inquiries in Japan — long before arriving in Canada amid a history of falsified travel documents, gaining citizenship through a refugee claim, and later rising in political and business circles tied to Beijing’s United Front Work Department.
FBI Didn’t Tell Dearborn Officials About Terror Raid Ahead of Time

The story about the ‘terrorist’ raid in Dearborn, Michigan, is still developing but there’s an interesting footnote to it that should really be the lead.
Normally the FBI coordinates with local authorities if it’s planning a raid and major arrests in a city.
Zohran Mamdani’s rise is fuelled by generational resentment

The likely election of Zohran Mamdani as New York City’s next mayor reflects a profound shift in generational politics. As the era of boomer domination finally draws to a close, a new cohort is bringing fresh energy to an already polarised landscape on both right and left – with potentially devastating results.
Diminishing economic prospects for younger workers have played a key role in undermining faith in free-market capitalism, making the case for socialism seem viable again. Cast largely in traditional Marxist terms, many on the reinvigorated left see the ‘cost of living’ focus as a promising strategy for progressives otherwise out of step on cultural issues.

Killing the Canada Goose

Canada’s conservative outlet Juno News depicts Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney as an incompetent, narcissistic leader who has done nothing to improve our country’s image on the world stage or to legislate for solvency and freedom of expression in the domestic realm. He is now at the helm of a faltering country that has little hope of struggling back on its feet.
Indeed, it is hard not to suspect that Carney and his Liberals, like the sinister Democrats in the U.S., are driven by a double agenda against the welfare of their own citizens: to deprive them of their political rights and freedoms via legislative and policy initiatives on the one hand, and to render them destitute by eviscerating the economy on the other. These actions are almost certainly deliberate.
The Liberals are Canada’s Democrats – destroyers of their own nations.

Oh Canada!
I’ve lived in Canada for 18 years now—long enough to shed my illusions, but not long enough to stop being stunned by what I see. When I first arrived, I thought Canadians were polite—too polite, almost unbearably so. The endless “sorrys,” the soft tones, the…

Feds ask private sector to watch for UAPs, other ‘unmanned systems’
A division within the FBI is asking defense contractors to report incursions by “unmanned systems” — including unidentified anomalous phenomena — that could pose a threat to U.S. national security.
NewsNation special investigative correspondent Ross Coulthart has obtained a flyer produced by the FBI’s Office of the Private Sector announcing a new initiative to report unmanned systems such as drones and underwater vehicles that could pose a threat to defense facilities and “critical infrastructure” sites.
I’ve obtained an @FBI document announcing a project to respond to the national security threat posed by unmanned systems (UxS). It specifically refers to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) as a type of UxS. This very significant because it means the FBI is now clearly… pic.twitter.com/ubAwqcYd1m

An Impending Population Crisis? World Fertility Rate Hits 60-Year Low

The decline in fertility, which began in the 1960s, coincided with societal change including rising divorce rates and legalized abortion.
Fertility rates have plummeted worldwide over the past six decades, leading experts to warn of dire consequences as the downward trend continues.
Continued low fertility rates will cause “a gradual implosion of the world’s economy as the population ages and dies,” Steven Mosher, president of the Population Research Institute, told The Epoch Times in an email. Mosher is an expert on population control, demography, and China.
“This will not occur overnight, of course, but once it is well underway it will be difficult, if not impossible, to reverse course,” he said.
SLOBODIAN: When the IRGC comes for a human rights hero and Canada’s gov’t does nothing

A month ago, Raheel Raza, a high-profile Muslim Pakistani Canadian journalist, beloved human rights activist, and fearless critic of Islamist extremism, learned that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is targeting her.
Despite media exposing her plight, no Canadian official reached out to discuss the Iranian Armed Forces’ IRGC terror squad distributing her photo and profile to proxies on its internal network and X. This is only one IRGC method that potentially endangers critics it wants to silence.
(Incognito)
I have met Raheel in the sorta long ago past. A steady woman.
