As the world waits for New York’s first Islamo-Communist mayor—hailed alike by the overtly malicious and the terminally stupefied—it may be worth stepping back to ask what the advent of Zohran Mamdani, the pampered 34-year-old rich kid who was born in Uganda, tells us about the decay of liberalism.

In many ways, Mamdani—who, as I write this, is a comfortable 10-15 points ahead in the polls—is just the latest avatar of the AOC-Ilhan Omar wing of the Democratic party. He loves talking about (re)distributing the wealth of others, defunding the police, arresting Benjamin Netanyahu, and penalizing “landlords,” which last is just one of his many code words for Jews.

‘We Just Had an Asset Go Down’: Unexplained Military Crash Near Area 51 Sparks Cover-Up Claims

Investigators and UFO sleuths are accusing authorities of an extensive cover-up five weeks after a classified military aircraft went down near Nevada’s notorious Area 51.

The incident occurred September 23 on public land adjacent to Highway 375 — famously dubbed the “E.T. Highway” — just outside the boundaries of the secretive military installation located 120 miles northwest of Las Vegas.

According to investigative journalist George Knapp of KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, who specializes in UFO and military affairs, the official military explanation leaves more questions than answers.

Deng Chol Majek had been in the UK for less than three months when he murdered hotel worker Rhiannon Whyte. Almost exactly a year ago, he stabbed the 27-year-old mother 23 times with a screwdriver while she waited for a train at Bescot Stadium station, Walsall. After throwing Whyte’s phone into the river, Majek left her for dead. He then went to buy some beers and returned to the Park Inn Hotel, where Whyte was employed and which had been turned into an asylum centre. One witness described him as “drinking, smoking and just chatting amongst his group of friends … having a good time.”

Mark Carney is plunging Canada further into an Islamo-Leftist dystopia

For outdoorsy pursuits, Canada is in the very top of the leagues. The best skiing in the world is arguably at Whistler near Vancouver; I was blown away by my childhood experience there, almost literally, for there is a constant barrage of fresh snow. It is generally very wintry in Canada and it is the world’s great ice hockey nation.

Nature is big and beautiful throughout the northernmost Commonwealth land in all seasons, and if you have disposable income, you can eat very well too. There is first-rate sushi, Franco-American dishes like the famous poutine, which is a mishmash of chips doused in meat and gravy, and craft beers galore. There is even a mini-slice of France, north American-style, in Montreal and Quebec, where the majority still speak French (for now).

Researchers at an organisation called Do No Harm recently found that American healthcare professionals were more than two times likelier to be anti-Semitic than their share of the workforce, and that physicians are nearly 26 times overrepresented among individuals identified as having publicly shared anti-Semitic content. This is a worrying tendency which seems common across the West. A few weeks ago a UK-based doctor was accused of denying the Holocaust and celebrating the Hamas attacks of 2023; in August a doctor in Liverpool who praised Adolf Hitler was let back into work; a med-school student in Quebec was revealed in October to be the moderator of a Discord channel hosting anti-Semitic slurs; earlier this year two Australian nurses were suspended for threatening Jewish patients.

During Israeli Apartheid Week in 2008, the University of Toronto hosted a conference of a newly formed group called High Schools Against Israel Apartheid. Carney says he’s prepared to fight an election campaign if budget doesn’t pass

Prime Minister Mark Carney says he’s prepared to fight an election campaign if his minority Liberal government fails to pass the Nov. 4 federal budget.

Mr. Carney has already warned Canadians they will have to accept challenges and sacrifices in what he said would be “generational investments” to refashion the Canadian economy in the face of rising U.S. protectionism.

The Liberals will require the support of at least one opposition party to pass its fiscal plan and the government will fall if this fails because votes on the budget amount to confidence votes.
