Even the armed forces have fallen to divisive identitarian dogma.

Of all the institutions to fall to wokeness, the UK’s Royal Air Force might seem an unlikely candidate. You might have thought that the divisive campaign across elite institutions to introduce racially aware policies, to provide leg-ups to supposedly ‘vulnerable’ women and minorities, all allegedly in the name of righting past wrongs, would have run aground with the armed forces. Only the most committed bigot could care about the skin pigmentation, or (ahem) undercarriage equipment, of the person charged with protecting their homeland, so long as he or she is committed and competent. Surely, the RAF has more pressing concerns than the precise ethnic and sexual makeup of its recruits?

Network Ratings are a Dumpster Fire but CBC’s president and CEO, Catherine Tait, gets 18-month contract extension

OTTAWA – The head of Canada’s public broadcaster will remain in her role for another 18 months, after her contract was extended by the federal heritage minister.

Catherine Tait was appointed as the CEO and president of CBC/Radio-Canada in July 2018 for a five-year term typical to the role.

She is the first woman to serve in the role.

A Toronto mayoral debate set to take place Thursday night has been cancelled after multiple candidates cancelled their appearances their amid an alleged threat.

Three Toronto mayoral hopefuls indicated they were pausing their public campaign activities Thursday as police search for a man who allegedly threatened to shoot several candidates.

On Thursday morning, police responded to a call in East York where a man allegedly made the threats and had what appeared to be a firearm, according to a news release.

Damn Farmers. They hate democracy and they hate Toronto.

San Francisco launches $6 million ad campaign that paints it as ‘quirky and fun’ to lure tourists back

The city of San Francisco has launched its biggest ad campaign to lure tourists and business travelers to the city that has been suffering from an intense and unending homelessness, drug addiction, and crime crisis.

The campaign, called ‘Always San Francisco’ cost a whopping $6million and is being spearheaded by the city’s tourism bureau.

It includes, among other things, the city’s first television commercial, a music video of sorts that seeks to highlight the quirkiness and diversity of the city.

Socialite Jasmine Hartin fined after killing Belize police officer

The Canadian socialite and former partner of the son of the billionaire and Conservative party grandee Michael Ashcroft has been fined after killing a police officer in Belize.

Jasmine Hartin, 34, was ordered to pay £30,000 by the supreme court in Belize City for manslaughter by negligence. She must also undertake 300 hours of community service and film a video about the dangers of “drinking and making foolish decisions”.

Stellantis Bribe Likely to Exceed Volkswagen Boondoggle

Stellantis NV is likely to receive more in subsidies for a new electric-vehicle battery plant in Canada than the C$13 billion ($9.5 billion) Volkswagen AG extracted for a similar project, according to an expert who has crunched the numbers.

Stellantis and South Korean partner LG Energy Solution Ltd. announced the factory in Windsor, Ontario last year, but have halted construction while they negotiate more financial aid from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government. The companies are seeking the equivalent of what they would receive under the Inflation Reduction Act if they located the plant in the US.

OTTAWA — Months after arguing Nigeria’s ruling party is responsible for terrorist acts, the Trudeau government has sent a cabinet minister to celebrate the swearing-in of its new president.

This week, Diversity and Inclusion Minister Ahmed Hussen visited Abuja to attend the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu, whose All-Progressive Congress party has ruled Nigeria since 2015.

Yet in Immigration and Refugee Board filings, Canada called the party “an organization that engaged in subversion of democratic processes as they are understood in Canada” and said it was responsible for numerous acts of terrorism.

I wonder what scam Hussen and the Nigerians are plotting?

Appeal court cuts five years from sentence of man who beat, choked mother outside Edmonton daycare .. because Indigenous

A man who brutally attacked a mother outside her children’s daycare will serve four years in prison instead of nine years after Alberta’s top court found a judge failed to properly assess how the accused’s Indigenous background affected his level of culpability.

He was Indigenous? Well in that case Mom had it comin.
