OTTAWA — Canada is cleared to participate in the Eurovision song contest after CBC/Radio-Canada became a full member of the European Broadcasting Union on Thursday.
In last fall’s federal budget, the government said it was looking at getting Canada into the popular international song contest.
Eurovision, which has been running for decades, features performers from various countries and is co-ordinated by the European Broadcasting Union.

OTTAWA — As the country mourned the eight killed and others injured by a shooter who attacked a secondary school in interior British Columbia, more than 10,000 anti-LGBTQ posts expressing hate and calling for violence were made the next day by Canadians online, according to an intelligence brief.
I recall a lot of anti-trans tweets many involving the number of mass shooters and violence in general found among that “community” and the concerns many have with grooming children to think it’s normal.
It’s a weird mania that while fading world wide remains well entrenched in Canada.
It is still pushed upon their own children by the so called elites.
Trans kids are a fashion statement of progressive values in that crowd.

Premier David Eby in Vancouver, and made a major announcement: the federal and B.C. provincial governments would step in to absorb thousands of vacant condominium units and repurpose them as affordable housing for Canadians. It was, his government declared in the press release, “one of the fastest and most efficient ways to increase housing supply.”

WASHINGTON — Microsoft founder Bill Gates revealed in a congressional interview the identities of the two Russian women with whom he had affairs — and the notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein later tried to “blackmail” him over, according to a transcript released Tuesday.

A Barrie judge acquitted Michael Evaristo of gun and drug charges Tuesday afternoon citing “serious” breaches of his Charter rights during an April 2022 downtown traffic stop.
