Migrant arrested over letter threatening to assassinate Trump

An undocumented US immigrant has been arrested after he sent a handwritten letter to the government saying he planned to assassinate President Donald Trump, officials said.

The man, 54-year-old Ramon Morales-Reyes, said in the letter he would “shoot your precious president in is [sic] head” before self-deporting back to his native country of Mexico.

He is now in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) detention in Wisconsin with deportation proceedings pending, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said.

Today’s immigration scam …

Canada sees surge in temporary foreign workers applying to escape abusive employers

The number of temporary foreign workers applying for open work permits to escape abusive employers has jumped more than 800 per cent year over year in Ontario, a surge advocates say highlights a growing crisis of abuse as immigration cuts and economic uncertainty deepen migrant workers’ vulnerability.

To address exploitation, the federal government in 2019 introduced the Vulnerable Worker Open Work Permit, allowing temporary foreign workers — whose status in Canada is tied to a single employer — to leave abusive jobs and apply for an open permit.

To qualify for one of these permits, migrant workers must show evidence of abuse.

You just know this push came from the lawyers.

Putin’s propaganda tsar finds way to brainwash toddlers

One of Russia’s most notorious propaganda agents is to launch a show on geopolitics for pre-school children that features animated images of President Putin and President Trump, as well as other world leaders.

Vladimir Solovyov, who has been sanctioned by Britain and the European Union for promoting disinformation that undermines Ukraine’s sovereignty, said the show, called Sandpit, would “instil patriotism from an early age” and teach Russian infants to “discuss geopolitics”.

Four in 10 British Pakistanis think first-cousin marriage should be legal

Almost one in 10 Britons believe marriage between first cousins should be legal, according to new polling. The figures, published today by YouGov, show that while 9% of adults nationwide think cousin marriage should remain legal, this proportion rises to 39% within the British Pakistani and British Bangladeshi communities.

While marriage between first cousins is currently legal in the UK, in December Conservative MP Richard Holden called for the practice to be banned. Parliament is currently reviewing his proposed legislation, with the bill’s second reading planned for July. Holden has argued that the offspring produced by first-cousin marriages are roughly twice as susceptible to birth defects, and that a ban should be enforced for the sake of public health and women’s freedom.

Ontario considered a flag-burning law — then abandoned it after internal pushback

A planned law that would’ve mandated the flying of the Ontario flag at all provincial buildings and banned the desecration of the Canadian flag has been scuttled by the Ford government, Global News has learned, after members of the Progressive Conservative caucus questioned the necessity of the bill.

Multiple sources told Global News the proposal, spearheaded as part of a patriotism push by Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism Graham McGregor, would have potentially violated the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and may have faced court challenges.

Some groups would be offended!

Japan-China War being Refought In Canada

China anti-Japanese propaganda poster

Anti-Japanese Museum in Canada Draws Criticism from Lawmakers

On May 27, 2025, Liberal Democratic Party lawmaker Masahisa Sato raised concerns in the House of Councillors Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee over a museum in Canada run by a Chinese-Canadian organization. It was not the first time he had done so. The museum, he said, conspicuously promotes anti-Japanese narratives through exhibits shown to large numbers of local high school students. He first raised the issue at an April 17 committee session.

According to those familiar with the matter, the museum in question opened in June 2024 in Toronto, Ontario. Called the Asia Pacific Peace Museum, it was reportedly spearheaded by a local Chinese-Canadian organization called Alpha Education. Its exhibits include references prominently reflecting China’s viewpoint on the Nanjing Incident and comfort women.

Fact: Japan was a brutal aggressor that committed war crimes on a massive scale in China.

Their treatment of allied prisoners of war while inhuman pales in comparison to the Rape of Nanking and other grotesqueries.

China went communist and the west needed allies post WW II so Japan’s atrocities were largely swept under the rug.

But why does Toronto have to have a Museum dedicated to this war?

Has it become fashionable that all ethnic groups rekindle their historic blood-feuds here in the Magic Kingdom of Multiculturalism and Diversity?

Or is this just more ChiCom feckery?
