Donald Trump’s tariffs tsar has accused Britain of being a “compliant servant of communist China” at risk of having its “blood sucked” dry by Beijing.
Peter Navarro, the president’s economic adviser, said the Government must resist “string-laden gifts” from Beijing and avoid becoming a “dumping ground” for goods that China can no longer sell to the US.
In an intervention set to complicate trade negotiations between Britain and America, he told The Telegraph: “If the Chinese vampire can’t suck the American blood, it’s going to suck the UK blood and the EU blood.”
“America wants our land, our resources, our water, our country”, declared Mark Carney in his victory speech, after Canada’s general election this week delivered his Liberal Party a plurality of seats in parliament. “These are not idle threats. President Trump is trying to break us so that America can own us”, Carney continued, promising that Trump’s oft-repeated plans to absorb Canada as America’s 51st state are “never, ever going to happen”.
Trump’s apparent designs on Canada, which appeared to begin with a social media post calling Carney’s predecessor Justin Trudeau “governor Trudeau”, weighed heavily on the country’s election. The Conservatives still polled their best results since the 1980s, and Carney will have to lead a minority government, but the spectacle of a foreign leader looming so decisively over the elections of a major democracy is Ruritanian to the point of comedy.

The current lawfare campaign waged against the Trump administration’s plans to deport violent criminals here in the US illegally was kicked up a notch last week with the arrest by the FBI of not one but two judges for their support of violent gangbanging illegals.
So far lawfare has consisted of tying up cases in Federal Court with far Left enthusiastic judges passing ‘nationwide injunctions’ on any and all of the Trump administration efforts to deport the illegals. But one has to acknowledge the fact that there are various rogue judges who, with a cry of ‘we’re doing our part’, are deploying their own unique strategies in defying immigration laws.
