On Sunday, a suspected radical illegal alien from Egypt allegedly burned several peaceful demonstrators in Boulder, Colorado, while shouting, “Free Palestine.”
The suspect, 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman, entered the United States under the Biden administration but overstayed his visa, Fox News reported. Soliman was supposed to leave the country on Feb. 2, 2023, but the Biden administration granted him a work permit that lasted until March 2025, according to the report.

It happened in the 1970s.” Jukka Savolainen, a professor of sociology at Wayne State University, begins his piece by noting that violent Left-wing radicals of the ‘70s such as the Weather Underground in the U.S., West Germany’s Red Army Faction, and Italy’s Red Brigades were composed largely not of “the oppressed proletariat of Marxist theory, but the disillusioned children of privilege and university lecture halls.” He writes that the radicalization of such academic domestic terrorists (my label, not his) as Barack Obama mentor Bill Ayers and his literal partner-in-crime Bernardine Dohrn “stemmed not from poverty but from moral outrage and estrangement from institutional power.”

The press release from the U.S. Department of Justice was terse. It was not self-congratulatory.
For a Canadian bombarded with daily examples of the insanity of our own justice and immigration systems, it was refreshing, even inspiring.

Top secret intelligence files uncovered by the BBC confirm for the first time that missing American journalist Austin Tice was imprisoned by the regime of the now-deposed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Officials said there was no indication that the attack was associated with any group. NBC reported Soliman was an Egyptian national, and the White House claimed Soliman was in the US without legal status.

Multiple people injured, evacuations issued after attack on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall
Multiple blocks of downtown Boulder were evacuated Sunday afternoon after an attack on the Pearl Street Mall that Gov. Jared Polis characterized as a “heinous act of terror.”
“Hate-filled acts of any kind are unacceptable,” Polis said in a statement on social media. “While details emerge, the state works with local and federal law enforcement to support this investigation.”
Several people were injured in the attack, which occurred near the Boulder County Courthouse at Pearl and 13th streets in downtown, the Boulder Police Department said on social media.
