Globe Triggered! Trump Was Mean!

Donald Trump has taken the mask off about immigrants in the U.S.

The United States was once a country that proudly proclaimed itself to be a nation of immigrants. That’s always been caveated, of course; the drive to “secure the border” has long obsessed both parties. But attacking pluralism is a full-on ideological anchor of President Donald Trump’s second administration, which has been unwavering in its promised anti-immigrant agenda.

This week, the xenophobic rhetoric reached a fever pitch when Mr. Trump launched into an anti-immigrant tirade, lamenting immigration to the United States from “hellholes like Afghanistan, Haiti, Somalia and many other countries,” which he condemned as “filthy, dirty, disgusting, ridden with crime.” These comments followed a major shift in immigration policy, what the President called a “permanent pause” on immigration applications from 19 countries, including Iran, Haiti and Sudan, including asylum applications, green card processing and naturalization applications.

All those countries mentioned are backward shitholes.

Canada’s idiot Lib-left is still caught up in their Noble Savage fixation and can’t wrap their head around the simple fact President Trump is protecting his people from predatory illegal alien invaders and the incompatible cultures allowed in by President Dementia & Obama.

Oh well the Globe has to play to their audience I suppose. Smug anti-Americanism still works with the Elbow people. God help us.

Ellen DeGeneres Leaving UK to Return to U.S. After Fleeing From Trump

Former talk show host and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres and her “wife” Portia de Rossi have had enough of the United Kingdom and reportedly plan to head back to the good old U.S. of A., just months after fleeing the country to get away from President Donald Trump. However, they claim they’re returning to California to avoid the super-chilly temperatures of the Cotswold region of Britain. In other words, America’s climate beats the dreary atmosphere of the UK, and the celebrity couple miss it so badly they’re willing to put up with a few months of President Trump.

Trump Derangement Explained: The Tragedy of the Unripped Bodice.

In my last post I used the metaphor of a sound system to explain how normal people with no particular prejudice or animus have been swayed by exposure to the rants of haters, propaganda and social pressure into a flash mob of antisemitism and self righteous anger. I posited the existence of a mental state in which extreme stimulation results in the excitement of brain activity so great that it exceeds a person’s capacity to process it normally. Past that limit thought and behavior is subject to distortion. I called it Cognitive Distortion as it is clearly a more powerful variant of Cognitive Dissonance In case you missed that post it just the last one before this. But first, a story…

Why The ‘Seditious Six’ Should Be Prosecuted Swiftly For Urging A Military Rebellion

On Monday, the Department of War announced its commencement of an investigation into Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., for potential violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice related to his participation in Democrats’ seditious “disobey unlawful orders” video.

This is absolutely the right approach, and the move is a helpful contrast to the mixed bag Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, offered this past Sunday on ABC’s This Week.

Meet Trump’s ‘nemesis’, the 60-year-old who has been to 1,000 protests

At a press conference on Capitol Hill last week, a pink inflatable frog held aloft a banner chastising President Trump for not releasing the Epstein files.

Unbeknown to the casual observer, the protester inside the costume has been photographed at most of the history-making moments of the past decade.

Driven by a personal animus for Trump and his policies, Nadine Otego Seiler has travelled the length and breadth of the United States, holding her homemade signs at what likely tops more than a thousand demonstrations since he first took office in 2017.

Insurrection Chic

Democrats now celebrate the very nullificationist tactics they once decried, embracing a neo-Confederate defiance of federal authority to undermine a president they despise.

Is Jeff Davis the Model?

Who is the real, or fictional, inspiration for the new insurrectionary wing of the Democrat Party?

The fictitious Hollywood insurrectionist, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, “James Mattoon Scott” (Burt Lancaster), who in the 1964 film Seven Days in May attempted to overthrow the presidency?

TDS Now Resembles Orwell’s ‘Two Minutes Hate’

Some complain that “Orwellian” has become the most overused phrase in current political discourse, but I beg to disagree. Although George Orwell succumbed to tuberculosis — and perhaps political despair — at the age of 46, some 75 years ago, his characterizations of our political condition have never been more apposite — and more chilling.

BBC investigated by US watchdog for ‘misleading and deceptive’ Trump edit

The BBC is being investigated by the broadcast regulator in the US over its “misleading and deceptive conduct” in editing a Donald Trump speech.

Brendan Carr, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, wrote to executives at the BBC and to two American broadcasters on Wednesday to find out whether the report was aired in the US.

He spells out how the Panorama programme spliced together parts of a speech that were separated by 54 minutes.

Trump signs bill ordering justice department to release Epstein files

US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he signed a bill ordering the release of all files related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The bill requires the justice department to release all information from its Epstein investigation “in a searchable and downloadable format” within 30 days.

Trump previously opposed releasing the files, but he changed course last week after facing pushback from Epstein’s victims and members of his own Republican Party.

Pope Leo backs US bishops’ rejection of Trump’s policies

Pope Leo XIV said many immigrants in the US were being treated in a way “that is extremely disrespectful,” supporting a recent statement by US Bishops expressing concern about immigration raids.

Pope Leo XIV has supported the US Conference of Catholic Bishops rare statement on US immigration and urged the US government to “treat people humanely.”

The Bishops’ message leveled criticism of President Donald Trump’s policies of mass deportation and the “vilification” of immigrants. The US clergy spoke about the fear and anxiety that immigration raids have sown in communities. They also rejected the denial of care to migrants in detention centers.

I don’t think many support a Pope that roots for illegal alien criminals.

Jeffrey Epstein’s Secret Buddy

His name is Michael Wolff, and he’s been called “the It Boy of New York media.” For decades now (he’s 72), he’s been busy keeping his name out there. But the kind of attention he’s been receiving lately, which has made him more famous than ever – not just in New York, but around the world – isn’t exactly the kind he’s lusted after. As Holly Golightly so wisely observes in Breakfast at Tiffany’s: “There are certain shades of limelight that can wreck a girl’s complexion.”

Americans deserve answers about Thomas Crooks and why he tried to assassinate Trump: Karoline Leavitt

The American people deserve answers about what drove Thomas Crooks to attempt to assassinate President Trump, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told The Post — after a damning report emerged suggesting the gunman left a trail of digital clues the FBI did not previously share with the public.

“Those questions are definitely deserving of answers and I understand why the public wants those answers, and I believe the president does too,” Leavitt recently told Miranda Devine on Pod Force One.
