Chicago paramedics were forced to duck for cover in an ambulance after gunmen started shooting just yards from their vehicle, shocking footage has revealed.

Dashcam video shows the two Med Express Ambulance paramedics crouching down after gunshots rang out on September 21 near Jackson Park.

The pair are driving along Marquette Drive when a loud noise is heard nearby.

Few states, if any, are as relentlessly and drearily woke as Oregon. It’s an eloquent indication of which policies actually work for the American people: while Americans from all over the country flock to deep red Florida, in deep blue Oregon, people are actually trying to redraw the state boundaries so that they’re no longer in the blue state at all.

New York, California and Illinois lost thousands of “rich young professionals” who fled the Democrat-run state for low-tax havens like Texas and Florida, according to a study.

The study conducted by SmartAsset of workers under the age of 35 who earn $100,000 per year cited inflow and outflow of young professionals by gleaning information from Internal Revenue Service data, including tax returns from 2019 and 2020.

Tyson Foods has become the latest company to shutter its Chicago-area offices in response to rampant crime seen under progressive Mayor Lori Lightfoot, joining Boeing, Caterpillar, and several others to turn tail and flee the Windy City.

The chicken giant made the bombshell announcement Wednesday, revealing it’s bringing together its corporate employees at its global headquarters in Arkansas, and closing down three of its offices, including one in Downtown Chicago.

The other two include a location in nearby Downers Grove, a suburb just outside the city, and in Dakota Dunes in South Dakota.

A woman who says she moved to Portland, Oregon for its progressive values has accused the mayor of scoffing at her after she confronted him over the city’s homelessness crisis.

At a virtual city council meeting on Wednesday, Gillian Rose slammed Portland’s handling of its homeless population, saying the squalid encampments that are pervasive around the city make life miserable for residents.

‘You have to stop enabling this,’ said a visibly emotional Rose. ‘I’m angry and I’m sad and I’m fed up, and I’m so sick of having politicians pander to a woke agenda that’s been nothing short of an epic failure.’

After years of political mayhem and an explosion of drug-related homelessness and crime, the city’s fabled quality of life is plunging. Every taxpayer in the 2.5 million metro area knows it.

Since the days of the Gold Rush, California has been a magnet for those seeking wealth. A backwater barely a century ago, with just over 3 million residents compared to nearly 40 million today, the Golden State established dominance over everything from agriculture and film to space travel and the internet.

But new data suggests that the tide may be turning, and a rich hegira is afoot.

McDonald’s plans to move its innovation center into central Chicago, but CEO Chris Kempczinski voiced concern Wednesday about plaguing crime.

“We are betting on Chicago in the long term because we think it makes good business sense,” Kempczinski stated during an event hosted by the Economic Club of Chicago, Bloomberg reported.
