The failure of the British state is long-term and corrosive. It emerged this weekend that Mr. X, a former bodyguard of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, was allowed to settle in the UK and given British citizenship – before going on to allegedly coordinate a Hamas terror plot in Germany. He also faces separate terror charges in this country.

The case of Mr. X was quickly followed by the news yesterday that Britain’s Home Secretary plans to launch a new resettlement scheme which prioritizes Afghan women and girls, and Palestinians of both sexes.

Donald Trump has said five men arrested over a suspected bomb plot targeting RAF Fairford should not have been bailed.

The British nationals, aged 23 to 25, were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of terrorism and explosive offences after three vans were discovered near the air base in Gloucestershire.

But on Monday police said that following “extensive interviews and inquiries”, all five men had been released on police bail.

Ten men have been jailed for a combined 130 years after a mother was set on fire in a revenge attack that also seriously injured a teenage girl.

To escape the flames at a house on Beverley Drive in Stoke-on-Trent, on the night of 16 December 2021, both victims were forced to jump from an upstairs window they had smashed.

The convictions of the 10 men involved came after an 11-week trial at Nottingham Crown Court, which ended in February, alongside a number of guilty pleas entered before the trial began.

While the UK has swapped out its previous prime minister, Keir Starmer, who failed to prosecute Muslim sex grooming gangs while heading the Crown Prosecution Service, for current PM Andy Burnham, who did little about Muslim sex grooming gangs when he was mayor of Greater Manchester, Shabana Mahmood, a Pakistani Muslim, has been heading up the UK’s security and immigration ministry.

Do not elect or appoint Islamists to positions they can use to advance their corruption.

The UK’s bonkers way of distributing council housing, and the British state’s apparently limitless capacity to extend generosity to people who show it nothing but contempt, are two of the things that most wind me up. And so, naturally, I’ve had a lot to get me going in recent months.

The arrests come amid heightened concerns around the threat from hostile states to the UK, with Russia among those that have used proxies to commit crimes on their behalf on British soil.

However, counter-terrorism police are understood to be probing a potential link to Iran.

The Financial Times (FT) recently published a piece called “Why is the far right so obsessed with knights?,” about UK patriots who have had enough of the scourge of mass immigration, written by Elise Morrison, a Cambridge PhD candidate “researching medieval culture and contemporary society.” Coincidentally, medieval culture and contemporary society are serious interests of my own. So I was curious to see how this Left-wing publication would frame the answer to Morrison’s question.

Driving home from a party in the early hours, a local farmer came across three seemingly abandoned white vans blocking a quiet country road.

Confused, she turned her car around. As she did so, she saw a group of masked men in balaclavas scattering into the trees and across the fields towards RAF Fairford.

She accelerated away and called the police. When she stopped, she also messaged her local WhatsApp group and warned people to lock their doors.
