Trèbes Terrorist Attack, Five Years On: A Trial and a Conversion

Five years after the Islamist attacks that cost a gendarmerie officer his life, the trial against the terrorism co-conspirators opened in Paris this week.

Lieutenant-Colonel Arnaud Beltrame died at the hands of terrorists in the Islamist attacks in Trèbes and Carcassonne in March 2018 after exchanging himself for a hostage. The freed hostage explained that she had found faith through the sacrifice of Lieutenant-Colonel Beltrame.

Take it from a copper – two-tier policing is real

My senior colleagues are more interested in appealing to the chattering classes than in tackling crime.

Yet another senior police officer has decided to prostrate himself at the feet of identity politics. This time it’s Gavin Stephens, chair of the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), which oversees the national collaboration between British police chiefs.

Could ‘smart gun’ tech have stopped the Danforth Islamist terror attack? Smith & Wesson denies liability in $150 million Toronto lawsuit

Could ‘smart gun’ tech have stopped the Danforth mass shooting? Smith & Wesson denies liability in $150 million Toronto lawsuit

In 2000, U.S. gunmaker Smith & Wesson acknowledged the risks posed by lost and stolen guns and entered an agreement with the U.S. government to implement “safety and design” changes to its civilian handgun products — including mechanisms that could deter unauthorized use.

That never happened, and 18 years later, a man in Toronto armed with a stolen Smith & Wesson M&P40 handgun randomly shot two young people and injured 13 others in a mass shooting on Danforth Avenue.

This was a Muslim terror attack.

‘Europeans Will Succumb to Islam,’ Says Former Intelligence Chief

Islam is on the verge of completely taking over Europe, in all ways — at least according to one who should know, Hans-Georg Maaßen, Germany’s top domestic intelligence chief from 2012 to 2018.  In a recent interview, he stressed several points that spell the imminent downfall of Europe to Islam.

His warnings are buttressed by disturbing demographic changes. According to conservative estimates from Pew Research, over the next 25 years — meaning most of the current generation’s lifetime — Europe’s Muslim population will triple to a staggering 76 million.  In fact, the actual current and future numbers of Muslims appear to be higher, though there are no official tallies.  For example, in an earlier, 2011 study, Pew Research found that “The number of Muslims in Europe has grown from 29.6 million in 1990 to 44.1 million in 2010. Europe’s Muslim population is projected to exceed 58 million by 2030.”  Clearly 58 million in five years’ time is more significant than 76 million in 25 years’ time.

WARMINGTON: This was a jihad-like terror attack in Canada that no one seems to know about

It’s not every day there is a jihadist-inspired terror attack in Canada related to Israel’s war in Gaza that few seem to know about.

But it did happen and the country is just fortunate no one was murdered in the process. The potential was definitely there.

This Crappy Crackpot Jihadi was a joke. We may not be so lucky next time.

Premier North American Muslim group CAIR now fighting a sex scandal lawsuit after it’s dropped by White House over ‘happy’ Hamas attack remark

A controversial Islamic group — which the White House cut ties with after its director said he was “happy” about Hamas’ terror attack against Israel on Oct. 7 — is facing allegations of sexual assault and harassment.

The suit could see the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) forced to open its books amid claims secret foreign donors are funding its multi-million budget.

Lori Saroya was once, in the words of one person who knows her, the “golden child” of CAIR.

Islamic group calling for Shariah law cancels Canadian event after U.K. declares it a terrorist entity

The day after an Islamic organization was declared a terrorist group in Britain, the group’s Canadian branch cancelled a conference it was hosting this weekend that was calling for the resurrection of the Muslim caliphate and the imposition of Shariah law.

Hizb ut Tahrir Canada was convening its conference on Saturday in Mississauga, just outside Toronto, called the Khilafah Conference 2024. Khilafah is the Arabic word for caliphate, referring to a Muslim community governed under Islamic law.

Illinois man is charged with murder of his three daughters and wife

This is the 63-year-old Illinois father who shot dead his wife and three daughters during ‘an argument’ at their home in Tinley Park on Sunday.

Maher Kassem has been charged with three counts of murder for killing wife Majeda and daughters Zahia and Halema, 25, and Hanan, 24.

Friends say the family were devout Muslims and Palestinian activists. Zahia, who also went by Zee, had recently visited Mecca.

Their mother Majeda devoted her life to ‘family and religion’, according to a fundraising site dedicated to completing a mosque in Mali in the family’s memory.

US, Australia and UK sanction Hamas-funders linked to Iran and China

Canada is also a “host” to Iranian threat networks former RCMP expert says

The U.S. Treasury, along with United Kingdom and Australian agencies, has slapped sanctions on Hamas-affiliated currency traders in Gaza with links to Chinese bank accounts and funds from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

In a press statement Monday, the U.S. government explained its financial strike on the terror-financing networks funding Hamas against Israel, and warned that banks in other nations found to be facilitating these networks could be subject to “enforcement action.”

Islamists are wreaking havoc in British schools

Secular education is under concerted attack from hardline Muslim activists.

Maintaining authority in the classroom is difficult at the best of times. But it’s even harder when schools are being turned into sites of political conflict. In recent years, many of these conflicts have involved Islamist activists and Muslim parents who wish to impose their cultural and political ethos on the classroom. Their aim is to refashion schools in their own image. Those who stand in the way often court the risk of being accused of Islamophobia.

Prior to Oct 7 much was made of the alliance between Muslims and Christians fighting to keep at bay the perverts embedded in our education system.

I hate to say I told you so, but I warned at the time to be careful what you wish for.

Maybe good will yet come of the alliance. Who knows.

Why Did the FBI ‘Disappear’ the Boston Bomber’s Jihadist Wife?

“They deleted her from a lot of the public records so that she couldn’t be tracked.”

I hadn’t thought about it in a while, but the Messenger went out and dug up this old story with an odd twist.

Katherine Russell pulled off a seeming vanishing act shortly after her husband, notorious Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed in a shootout with police days after the bloody 2013 terror attack.

Don’t be like Germany …

Muslim religious leaders trained in Germany

Osman Soyer is a religious affairs officer who was sworn into office this month in the Sehitlik Mosque in Berlin’s Neukölln district. He is one of 28 young men and women who have been trained as “religious representatives” by DITIB, Germany’s largest Islamic organization. They are involved in a variety of pastoral duties; this can also include acting as imams, but the job description is broader.

Soyer has been working as an Islamic religious representative in Alfter, a town near Bonn in western Germany, for a few months now. Community outreach, he says, is his top priority. It includes a wide range of activities: “I teach pupils, I’m a prayer leader, preacher and pastor. We also go to weddings, I do funerals.”

The German left is so terrified of the AfD’s rise that there are calls to ban the party much like Hitler banned the opposition because it’s the AfD who are the fascists and these are entirely spontaneous demonstrations.

Germany sees second day of large anti far-right protests

After two days of mass protests, tens of thousands of people took to the streets of German cities on Sunday to demonstrate against the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party and its anti-immigration agenda.

From Friday through the weekend, demonstrations were called in about 100 locations across Germany. On Sunday, rallies were held in major cities such as Cologne, Munich and Berlin. Several other German cities, including Cottbus, Dresden and Chemnitz in the east, also planned to hold demonstrations.

Police in Munich said that some 80,000 people participated in the march, while organizers put the figure at 200,000. The march had to be called off due to overcrowding.
