Hero National Guardsman filmed taking down DC shooter Rahmanullah Lakanwal

A hero National Guardsman was seen gunning down suspected DC terror shooter Rahmanullah Lakanwal seconds after the Afghan opened fire on two soldiers.

The unidentified soldier let off five rounds immediately after Lakanwal, 29, is said to have ambushed Andrew Wolfe, 24, and Sarah Backstrom, 20, who has since died.

Footage captured by a bystander in a vehicle showed Lakanwal carrying a snub nose revolver, he was seen on the ground seconds later.

The National Council of Canadian Muslims says it is considering legal action after the Quebec government tabled a new secularism bill Thursday.

Quebec’s minister for secularism, Jean-François Roberge, presented the Bill 9, which builds on Quebec’s existing legislation, Bill 21, by proposing a ban on face coverings and religious symbols in schools, as well as public prayer.

“Let’s not kid ourselves: this bill targets Muslims,” said National Council of Canadian Muslims CEO Stephen Brown – Yup Yup Yup.

The Oppressed Muslims Of Dearborn: Rightwing influencers spin anti-Muslim rage in Michigan for social media reach

White nationalist and rightwing agitators recently descended on Dearborn, Michigan, to hold an anti-Islam rally at which they attempted to burn a Qur’an and manufacture controversy over the city’s large Arab American population. But the protest has been dismissed by local leaders as a cheap publicity stunt aimed at generating money and clicks for far-right influencers.

But there is little doubt the Michigan city has become a repeated target for the publicity-hungry far-right because it holds the US’s highest percentage of Arab American residents. Similar provocateurs have marched with a pig’s head on a pole at an Arab American fair. Meanwhile, Christian evangelists regularly attempt to convert Muslim children at parks or outside schools.

Somehow the defenders of Dearborn’s oppressed Muslims never remember this stuff!

Ryan Thorpe and Christopher Rufo are to be congratulated for the attention they have drawn to the issue of fraud committed by a large cast of Minnesota Somalis. I have devoted attention to the issue over the past eight years, including in a 2018 article I wrote for City Journal headlined “Mogadishu, Minnesota,” and in daily coverage of the two federal trials conducted so far in the massive Feeding Our Future fraud for Power Line.

The Feeding Our Future case involves some $300 million obtained by blatant, gross, and widespread fraud featuring a cast of mostly Somali perpetrators. Driven manifestly by greed, they wanted to get rich fast. The motive of greed permeates these cases.

A group of Muslim and interfaith leaders are urging Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, to reverse his proclamation designating the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as a “foreign terrorist organization.”

Texas’ designation is state-level only. It does not carry the legal force of a federal Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) listing, which only the U.S. State Department can issue. Abbott’s proclamation, therefore, does not trigger federal terrorism penalties or authorities.

The director of the CIA has sensationally revealed the suspected shooter of two National Guard troops in Washington D.C. worked with the agency in Afghanistan prior to the military’s disastrous withdrawal in 2021.

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, was identified as the alleged gunman taken into custody after the horror shoot-out took place on Wednesday just yards from the White House – leaving two soldiers in critical condition.

Late on Wednesday night, CIA Director John Ratcliffe told Fox News Lakanwal had direct links to the CIA from his work alongside US Special Forces in Afghanistan.

Why hasn’t Britain banned the Muslim Brotherhood?

Donald Trump this week moved to designate the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist group which supports sharia law and the creation of a caliphate, as a terror organisation. Given its own exposure to the Brotherhood’s influence, should Britain consider doing the same?

Earlier this year, the French Ministry of the Interior published an official report on the organisation’s networks, strategies and methods inside democratic societies. It concludes that the Brotherhood’s core threat is not conventional terrorism but instead subversion from within. It documents a deliberate, long-term campaign to infiltrate civic life: religious councils, educational settings, charities, advocacy groups and municipal political structures.

It’s Not “Racist” to Notice Somali Fraud

Last week, my colleague Ryan Thorpe and I broke a story about widespread fraud committed by Somalis in Minnesota. Members of the state’s Somali community allegedly participated in complex schemes related to autism services, food programs, and housing, which prosecutors estimate have stolen billions of taxpayer dollars. Even worse, some of the cash has ended up in the hands of Al-Shabaab, a terrorist organization in Somalia.
