Le Pen Vows Referendum on Fines for Islamic Veiling of Women and Girls

Vox populi, vox Dei appears to be the operating strategy for Marine Le Pen and her National Rally party, which has committed to multiple popular referendums should she be elected as the next President of France, including on a potential law to “combat Islamist ideologies” within the country.

The frontrunning presidential candidate confirmed on Monday that, to enforce the ban on Islamic veils in public, she would seek to hold a referendum to impose fines on those who flout the 2010 law, which is currently rarely enforced.

Multicultural Britain: More Than 100 Children May Have Been Forced Into Marriage

More than 100 children aged 12 or under were referred to the British government’s Forced Marriage Unit between 2021 and 2025, new Home Office figures show.

The figures include 27 children aged five or under.

Dame Jasvinder Sanghera, a campaigner who escaped a forced marriage when she was 14, described the number of very young children as “deeply disturbing.”

She warned that some children could disappear from school because they had been taken away for a forced marriage.

In New York City, Muslims on Times Square incessantly shouted, “Allahu Akbar.” The leader addressing the hyped-up horde said sarcastically, “Don’t scare them, brothers. Relax brothers. Who has seen those videos saying, ‘Oh my God, the Muslims are taking over New York.’ You’ve seen those.” (The “brothers” laugh.) Doubling down, the leader yelled, “Let them know we are taking over New York” as the frenzied mob belted out, “Allahu Akbar.” Do you think they’re serious? Abdul El-Sayed apologizes for comment about Michigan synagogue attack

Michigan’s Democratic US senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed apologized to the state’s Jewish Democratic Caucus on Saturday for comments he made after an attack on a synagogue in March, which he tied to Israel’s actions in the Middle East.

“My comments may have been misconstrued to justify something I did not mean to justify,” El-Sayed told reporters after he addressed the caucus at a party convention in Lansing. “To anyone who feels like my comments might have been hurtful, I’m really sorry. That was not my intention.”

Pakistan: We’re not taking back Rochdale grooming gang leader

Ed Miliband’s efforts to deport the ringleader of the Rochdale grooming gang came to nothing this week after Pakistan refused to take him back.

Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister, informed Mr Miliband in a meeting on Thursday Pakistan would not accept Shabir Ahmed back because it was not legally bound to do so.

Pakistani officials told their British counterparts they ‘currently do not have any legislation or formal mechanism under which we can take him back’.

Anti-invading migrant horde speaker blocked from entering Canada in time for Hamilton event even as Iran’s IRGC members continue to reside here

OTTAWA — Austrian anti-immigrant speaker Martin Sellner says he was not granted an electronic travel authorization in time for a trip to Hamilton to speak at a nationalist conference.

In a video posted on X, Sellner says Canada not granting him permission to enter the country is political persecution, and said Canada is engaging in “silent, ethnic replacement” of its population.

He was scheduled to speak this weekend at a conference in the Hamilton area held by the Dominion Society, an organization advocating for a policy called remigration.

According to figures released by the Ministry of Justice, one in five Muslim prisoners in England and Wales are now white, compared with around 6% of Muslims as a whole. At first glance, that number may look relatively benign: men finding faith and perhaps a sense of purpose behind bars. But the truth is much darker.

During my 16 years in prison, I saw Islamist groups offer frightened and susceptible prisoners protection, status and belonging — sometimes backed by intimidation — in exchange for conversion. And as the number of Muslim people in British prisons grows, accounting for nearly a fifth of all prisoners, vulnerable people on hostile wings increasingly find themselves joining strong groups not as a theological decision but rather as a survival strategy.

Not long ago, merely uttering the word “crusade” in connection with Islam was enough to provoke outrage. When George W. Bush casually referred to the coming war on terrorism as a “crusade” in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, the backlash was swift enough that the administration distanced itself from the word. Considering the countless apologies, condemnations, and mea culpas concerning the crusades that Westerners have been subjected to ever since, one might have assumed that “crusade” had been permanently banished from public discourse.
