The mother of one of four black teenage girls who was captured on video brutally assaulting a group of Asian students on a Philadelphia train turned her into police as all four were slapped with a slew of charges, including ethnic intimidation.

Shocking video captured the group of black teenage girls brutally throwing punches and screaming profanities at a group of Asian students this week.

The unidentified girls, who were between the ages of 13 and 16, were charged with aggravated assault, ethnic intimidation, criminal conspiracy, simple assault, disorderly conduct, and recklessly endangering another person, according to the district attorney’s office.

Two shocking attacks allegedly carried out by Muslims have not caused a storm. We need to talk about why.

Imagine if footage emerged showing a white man attacking people in a Muslim-populated part of town. Imagine if CCTV images showed the man punching a visibly Muslim elderly man in the face without provocation. Imagine if someone’s dashcam then captured this same bloke assaulting a Muslim child.

New FBI Initiative Will Put “Hate Crime” Quotas On Local Law Enforcement

The Department of Justice and the FBI have a message for local police departments: start charging more white people with hate crimes or invite an investigation.

Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta told an assembly of FBI agents yesterday that they are now tasked with hounding police departments in their district if they do not register any “hate crimes.”

Maricia Bell, 25, is accused of attacking three women — ages 75, 63, and 34 — and a 23-year-old man in four separate incidents in the borough beginning on May 23, according to police.

California cops probing ‘horrific’ graffiti on MLK statue as hate crime

Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia said the likeness of the civil rights icon at Martin Luther King Jr. Park was defaced over the July Fourth holiday weekend.

“The LBPD are investigating this as a hate crime and we are working to catch whoever committed this awful act,” Garcia tweeted Monday. “Our MLK statue is a symbol of hope and justice for the community. This hate and desecration has no place in our city.”

NYPD opens hate crime investigation into vandalism of George Floyd statue at de Blasio’s orders

The police say they are investigating spray paint found on the statue of George Floyd in Brooklyn as a hate crime, according to NBC News. Police say the statue was defaced with the website of “Patriot Front” spray painted in black across its face.

Patriot Front has been labeled by groups like the Southern Poverty Law Centre as “a white nationalist hate group” due to its connections to the Charlottetown “Unite the Right” rally and other incidents.

American extremism is infiltrating Canada – and there’s no easy fix

In Canada, hate crimes have shot up, anti-Asian attacks have multiplied. Six mosque worshippers were killed in Quebec City in 2017 by a man who was motivated by the American far right. There was the horrid hate crime Sunday in London, Ont., where a Muslim family was run over and killed. Whether the accused was influenced by racist groups is unknown.
