Brampton trucking company owners charged in Blue Water Bridge smuggling case
Lovedeep Singh, 32, and Khushdeep Singh, 29, who live at the same address in Brampton, are charged with conspiracy and possessing property obtained by crime. One of the conspiracy charges alleges between March 1 and March 6, in Point Edward, they conspired to import cocaine into Canada from the U.S. by organizing and directing Ravinderbir Singh, court records say.

Homicide Charges Laid Following Fatal Home Invasion in Vaughan
Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit have charged one adult with First Degree Murder in connection with a fatal home invasion that occurred in the City of Vaughan.
Investigators have obtained judicial authorization to identify 16-year-old Jayshaun WILLIAMS, who is wanted for First Degree Murder in connection with the incident. The judicial authorization will expire on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. At which time his image and name must be removed from circulation.

It’s the fact that it happened in Britain that is so disturbing. We can no longer tell ourselves that this is a safe country, a country that elevates civic order and religious tolerance, a country that leaves anti-Semitism, along with other forms of extremism, to excitable foreigners.
Until this week, British Jews had been spared the horrors visited on their co-religionists in even our nearest neighbours. France has seen stabbings at a Marseilles synagogue, children shot in a Jewish school in Toulouse, a hostage siege in a kosher supermarket in the Île-de-France, a knife attack on a Jewish community centre in Nice and hundreds of incidents of desecration, intimidation and abuse.
