That should read “however real and fake graves” There are so many hit pieces on Poilievre I am beginning to think he plants them to garner public support.

Lich crown prosecutor donated $17K to Liberals, attended Trudeau fundraiser

On Tuesday, Karimjee appeared before an Ottawa court to argue that Lich had breached her bail conditions and deserves to be seen behind bars again after being photographed with fellow organizer Tom Marazzo at a Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom’s award gala.

As a result of the hearing, the overseeing Justice of the Peace ordered that Lich will remain in jail until Friday afternoon while he makes a decision on her bail hearing.

In a prior heated bail hearing that saw Lich released, Karimjee demanded that the overseeing judge stepped down from the trial.

Tamara Lich to remain in jail while awaiting decision on bail

At a day-long hearing Tuesday, Crown prosecutors argued that Lich breached her conditions after being photographed alongside fellow organizer Tom Marazzo at a Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms George Jonas Award ceremony in June.

Lich’s bail conditions prohibit communication with a number of people, including Marazzo, unless in the presence of counsel.

Lich’s lawyers argued that counsel was present at the event.

Tamara Lich nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

One of the lead organizers of the Freedom Convoy has been nominated for the prestigious prize by a man named Kim Tsoj.

The petition to nominate Lich was originally shared by Calgary-based journalist Andy Lee, and corroborated by Lich’s mother.

Lich is idolized by many Canadians for the sacrifices she made for Canadian freedom.

What progressive extremism experts get wrong

An entire industry has been built on narcissism

… With a finite number of terrorist groups to map and study, the experts needed to branch out: so they heartily embraced the concept of extremism, a category so capacious and permissively malleable that it encompasses not only behaviour and thought but conceivably anything that the expert in question deems politically undesirable or “problematic”. This made the field acutely vulnerable to exploitation by political activists whose interest is less to study extremists than to manufacture them in an effort to stigmatise and silence their political opponents.

Over the last few years, as my colleague Liam Duffy has documented, the study of extremism has ballooned exponentially: there are now experts on gaming and extremism, climate-change and extremism, sport and extremism, gender and extremism, fashion and extremism, music and extremism, neo-Nazi accelerationists, incels, femcels, jihadi poetry, and far-Right speech-codes. One expert has even written an article on “LOL extremism”.

FBI arrests Michigan republican governor candidate Ryan Kelley…

FBI agents executed search and arrest warrants at his home in Allendale, near Grand Rapids, and took Kelley into custody, a spokeswoman for FBI Detroit, initially confirmed to Fox News Digital.

Ryan Kelley, 40, of Allendale, Michigan, was arrested Thursday morning on misdemeanor charges stemming from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach, FBI Detroit spokeswoman Mara R. Schneider said in an update.

Jan. 6 committee goals: ‘Imprison Trump, destroy Electoral College’

The special committee set up by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to “investigate” the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol started out badly. Pelosi refused the GOP’s nominees for the committee and to her own party’s picks added a couple of rabidly anti-Trump GOP members, making the entire process partisan.

Then it has demanded testimony from hundreds of witnesses, and even has attacked members of the U.S. House with subpoenas and threats, unprecedented in House disputes.

Observers have noted it has made clear from the outset that the results of the investigation are to be that President Trump is to be punished, no matter the facts.

Canada: Growing pushback against Trudeau’s clinging to vaccine mandates as others discard them

In Canada, the unvaccinated are banned from all commercial airliners, passengers and crew member alike. But pressure is mounting against Trudeau.

Trudeau’s American counterpart Joe Biden also has a “no logic” border policy, as border crossings from Canada to the US are restricted for the unvaxxed, even though Biden permits multitudes of illegals from Mexico to enter the US — a whopping half a million “during a 10-week period ending on May 15.” Also, refugees from Afghanistan and Ukraine are entering America, many of whom are unvaxxed. So why keep Canadians out, people who could benefit both the Canadian and American economies? Something is clearly amiss.

They came. They idled. They left. What have convoy protesters been doing since they went home?

One interesting thing about the convoy for Lee Bates and Sandy Williams and Luke Kendze and a lot of others once they got back home from Ottawa is that they remembered it as a revolution and a revelation – and not just in the religious sense, though that was true as well. Now that the pandemic has killed 15 million people worldwide, now that CSIS has revealed how alarmed it was (and is) about the northward drift of “ideologically motivated violent extremism” during February’s occupation of Ottawa, now that support for the convoy may be a requirement to lead the Conservative Party, it might help to know what stuck with the people who descended on Canada’s capital. Are Lee and Luke and Sandy permanent converts to the populist cause? What did they take away from Ottawa, beyond memories of barbecues and bouncy castles?

Ontario judge decides ‘Freedom Convoy’ organizer Tamara Lich stays out on bail

Ontario Superior Court Justice Kevin Phillips said his decision was based on how well Lich’s surety has supervised her, that she has followed her bail conditions, along with “having had a taste of jail,” which lowered risk of reoffence.

The judge said he does not accept that Lich breached her release conditions by agreeing to receive an award, and added Lich can be trusted to respect the conditions of her release.
