Where Are the Obamas and the Clintons on the Monsters Taking Over Their Party?

As the Nazis took over Germany, they were a minority party that no one really took all that seriously. Hitler was crazy, but his ramblings weren’t thought of by most Germans or the political establishment as foreshadowing. People today forget they were not a majority, as history tends to obscure reality for the sensational. Communists in Russia and China (or anywhere they destroyed, really) were a minority, too. But you should never underestimate the ability of a distinct minority to bring about massive devastation, as once radicals gain power they tend to wipe out their opposition and move quickly to consolidate control. That’s what makes the lack of comment from “leaders” on the left about the goose-steppers taking over so curious.

Atlantic Magazine Panics Over Communists Taking Control of Democrat Party

Commies are taking over the Democrat party!

You might think that was a charge leveled by some rightwing reactionary who somehow confused socialism with communism. Instead it was the morbid fear expressed by longtime liberal Jonathan Chait in Wednesday’s Atlantic magazine, “There’s Nothing Democratic About These Socialists.”

So panicked was Chait at the specter of communism taking over his beloved Democrat party that he did not just mention it in passing. In fact, the C-word was invoked eleven times in Chait’s article in which he accuses the Democratic Socialists of America of being the parasitic pathway for injecting communism into its host party.

Chevalier is particularly radical: in a since-deleted X post she wrote “I forgot to get napkins so I just wiped my hand on the American flag behind me.” She also called for abolishing borders and founded an anti-Israel organization at Columbia University that demanded “the total eradication of Western civilization.”

McCarthyism Didn’t Go Far Enough To Root Out Filthy Commies, So Now We Have Modern NYC

After the Democratic primaries in New York last week, the Big Apple is looking a little more red. The Democratic Socialists of America, a rising faction within leftist politics, had a particularly good night.

Darializa Avila Chevalier, a radical’s radical in the DSA, unseated five-term incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat in the 13th Congressional District. Brad Lander beat incumbent Dan Goldman for the 10th District’s nomination, and DSA member Claire Valdez won the nomination for an open seat in the 7th District. Each also had the endorsement of Islamo-Marxist Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

NYC Socialist ‘Leader’ Is Billionaire CCP Propagandist’s Niece

As socialist candidates surge in New York and New York City, it’s worth noting that one leader of New York City’s Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) chapter is the niece of Neville Roy Singham — a propagandist for the Chinese Communist Party and ardent supporter of Maoism and socialism.

The NYC-DSA made headlines this week after candidates it endorsed won their congressional primaries. Winners included Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier, who are both DSA members, as well as Brad Lander (who was backed by Zohran Mamdani and Bernie Sanders, though he failed to receive a formal DSA endorsement).

The Commies Mount An Across the Board Push

A decade ago, it was all “Russians! Under my bed!” everywhere. Those Russians were fictional, for the most part, part of a campaign organized by Clintonistas to explain away her humiliating defeat, and magnified by various Deep State operatives into an effort to discredit and weaken the first Trump term. (The previous sentence counted as conspiracy theory then; now it’s unexceptionable truth, like so many of those conspiracy theories.)

But while the Russians weren’t actually calling the shots, the the Latté Communist Party, more officially known as the Democratic Socialists of America, has been seeking out election victories everywhere. And winning some.

The socialist revolution will eat the Democratic Party

The next mayor of the District of Columbia is likely to be a Marxist. In Los Angeles, the Mensheviks and Bolsheviks are battling it out for control. New York has already fallen to a champion of Third Worldism.

And, for the first time in U.S. history, a significant bloc of Congress will openly hate the country it represents. We aren’t talking about anti-Americanism in an abstract or hyperbolic sense. The Zohran Mamdani slate that swept the Democratic Party primaries is explicit in its aim to dismantle the republic.

Socialism Just Had a Shocking Come Back. We Need a Better Response

When President Donald J. Trump not only won the 2024 presidential election, but won it with a popular majority, it seemed like the Left was finally dead.

We’d dutifully (and successfully) boycotted Bud Light; parents were making headlines as heroes in the fight against boys in girls’ bathrooms and sports; companies were quietly gutting their DEI departments; and even demographics traditionally the unquestionable property of the Democrat Party had decided the grass was greener and the promises better on the populist side of the fence.

Two Americans Died Fighting for Filipino Communists

Last month, two Americans were killed in a foreign state’s counterterrorism operation. If Lyle Prijoles, 40, and Kai Dana-Rene Sorem, 26, had been part of a group of jihadi terrorists in the Middle East, their deaths would likely have generated national headlines. But they were in the Philippines, fighting for the New People’s Army (NPA), a decades-old Maoist insurgent group that serves as the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP).

The two appear to have died fighting: many Western reports of the incident explicitly note that Prijoles’s and Sorem’s deaths occurred in a “firefight,” implying an exchange of fire between both sides. Nor were they fighting on the side of good: both the CPP and NPA are designated foreign terrorist organizations by the State Department.

Ukrainian Canadian Congress pushes Ottawa to ban Soviet hammer and sickle symbol

The Ukrainian Canadian Congress is urging Parliament to outlaw public displays of the Soviet hammer and sickle, arguing the Communist emblem should be treated as a hate symbol alongside Nazi and terrorist insignia already targeted in federal legislation.

In submissions to the Senate human rights committee, the Congress said the symbol continues to represent both historic atrocities committed under the Soviet Union and modern-day Russian aggression against Ukraine.

I get it but half of Ottawa probably longs for the return of the Soviet Inion.
