After Dr. Charles Hoffe went public with his experiences in early April of multiple First Nations patients in his village of Lytton who suffered from severe and unique Bell’s Palsy and other neurological adverse effects after receiving the Moderna vaccine, Hoffe was disciplined by BC’s Interior Health Authority only a few weeks later.
“The removal of the sequencing data is described in a new paper posted online Tuesday by Jesse Bloom, a virologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle,” The Wall Street Journal reported. “The paper, which hasn’t been peer reviewed, says the missing data include sequences from virus samples collected in the Chinese city of Wuhan in January and February of 2020 from patients hospitalized with or suspected of having Covid-19.”

Ontario reports fewer than 300 new COVID-19 cases today, active caseload drops below 3,000
Ontario is reporting just under 300 new COVID-19 cases today as the province’s active caseload dips below 3,000 for the first time since September.
Provincial health officials logged 296 new infections today, up from 255 on Wednesday but down from the 370 cases confirmed one week ago.

Ontario will move to the next step in its reopening plan on June 30, allowing most personal care services to reopen while also permitting larger outdoor gatherings of up to 25 people and smaller indoor gatherings of up to five people.
The province wasn’t actually supposed to enter step 2 in its reopening plan until at least July 2 but in recent days Premier Doug Ford had hinted that his government would consider an earlier reopening based on rapidly improving public health indicators and steadily declining case counts.

White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci said Tuesday the highly contagious delta variant is the “greatest threat” to the nation’s attempt to eliminate Covid-19.
Delta, first identified in India, now makes up about 20% of all new cases in the United States, up from 10% about two weeks ago, Fauci said.

Chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam says she’ll soon have advice to help fully vaccinated Canadians figure out what they can safely do, but it won’t be a blanket list of dos and don’ts covering everyone, everywhere.
