The Fascist Film That Plays As Prophecy

Before leaving London this morning, I finished watching one of the most terrifying films I’ve ever seen: Uwe Boll’s ‘Citizen Vigilante’. It is not a good movie, technically speaking: it’s propagandistic, and full of holes (e.g., there are a hundred ways the Vigilante makes it easy for cops to identify him and track him down, but they never seem to do it). Narratively, it is a total mess. But technical excellence is not its point. It’s not even a good movie in the moral sense, more on which later. Not gonna lie, I felt dirty watching it.

But I’m glad I did, because it is an extremely powerful movie, for one reason: it tells forbidden but widely known truths about life in lawless Europe overrun by migrants, and it speaks deeply — deeply — to the sense of suppressed outrage that many ordinary Europeans feel towards the film’s twin villains: migrant criminals and the European establishment (law enforcement, courts, politicians) that allow them to tyrannize innocent Europeans. The academic David Betz warns of civil war coming to Europe if those in power don’t do something serious about migration and the problems it causes. This movie shows you exactly what he means.

Usual suspects accuse US Supreme court conservatives of advancing ‘white-supremacist agenda’ for ruling in national interest

Lawmakers and immigration advocacy groups on Thursday sharply denounced two US supreme court rulings that allowed the Trump administration to strip certain immigration protections and fundamentally reshape the asylum system.

Dozens of groups, advocates and members of Congress called the court’s decisions “disastrous” and “cruel”, while the Trump administration, Republican lawmakers and anti-immigrant groups celebrated the rulings.

“Today, Trump’s loyalists in the supreme court have joined forces with him to deny immigrants’ internationally recognized human rights and advance an authoritarian, white-supremacist agenda at home,” said the Illinois congresswoman Delia Ramirez, a Democrat. “The supreme court’s decisions put more than 350,000 TPS holders at risk of deportation and countless more asylum seekers’ lives in danger.”

The US supreme court on Thursday ruled in favor of the Trump administration’s bid to strip temporary protected status (TPS) from hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians, who were legally in the US and protected from deportation.

In another boost to Donald Trump’s unprecedented hardline crackdown on immigrants, including many who have lived legally in the US for years, the court issued a 6-3 ruling. That was powered ⁠by its conservative-leaning majority, overturning decisions by ⁠federal judges in New York and Washington DC that had halted the administration’s actions terminating TPS for more than 350,000 people from Haiti and 6,100 from Syria.

‘Sense Offenders’ and Sudan

IIn the 2002 sci-fi film Equilibrium, agents of the state hunt down ‘sense offenders,’ dissidents who refuse government-mandated drugs designed to eliminate all human feeling. In the setting’s city-state of Libria, when a citizen is murdered, the deep state dispatches undercover officers to lay flowers at the scene in a bid to create a funereal atmosphere and muffle any temptation to anger.

As atrocities become commonplace, the government writes and issues false statements in the name of the victim’s families in a bid to effect behavioural change on its long-suffering populace. They seek to play down, or even deny, the most heinous crimes, because in Libria “there is no crime.”

Today’s Reason For Remigration: Ottawa cut therapy sessions for refugees to 10 hours per year. Now some of these spongers want more.

When the federal government introduced supplemental health copayments for asylum seekers and refugee claimants earlier this spring, it also quietly brought in a 10-hour yearly cap on mental health sessions for them, CBC News has learned.

Mental health practitioners have been lobbying for a reversal since, with limited success.

No cap previously existed, meaning both groups have lost a system of potentially unlimited mental health sessions, virtually overnight.

Rhiannon Whyte, 27, was stabbed 23 times with a screwdriver by Sudanese national Deng Majek while waiting at a train station in October 2024.

Majek, 28, who was sentenced to 29 years in prison in January, then spent the night dancing and drinking in the car park of Park Inn Hotel in Bescot, Walsall, where Rhiannon worked.

The police will be a major cause of Britain’s coming anti-beheader riots.

Apolitical crisis is unfolding in the small Dutch town of Maassluis, a former fishing village which sits between Rotterdam’s vast port and industrial complex, the glasshouses of the agribusiness powerhouse known as the Westland, and the historic fishing town of Vlaardingen.

The natives of Maassluis were once nicknamed ‘snails’. They acquired the name in the 1770s, when the parliament of the Dutch Republic decreed that Psalms should be sung at a faster tempo in church. The citizens of Maassluis and Vlaardingen refused to comply, continuing – like snails – to sing at the slower pace that had been customary for more than two centuries, dating back to the Dutch Revolt against Spanish rule. A minority, reportedly from the local elite, embraced the new rules and began singing more briskly, resulting in chaotic Sunday services in Dutch Reformed churches across the region.

It was the threat of gang violence in Honduras that pushed Carlos and Antonia to flee their home. In 2021, with their toddler, Alejandro, and a handful of belongings, the married couple ventured north hoping to reach safety in the US.

The journey, through Guatemala and Mexico, was filled with danger and uncertainty.

“We were in constant fear, every time we had to cross the border and travel with a young child,” said Antonia. “We were terrified.”

A ‘predatory’ asylum seeker who groped a teenage girl on a train after being freed on bail for another sexual assault has been jailed for a year.

Meron Habtu came to the UK illegally from Eritrea in 2020 and ‘fooled’ the authorities into thinking he was a child so he could be placed with a host family, when he was actually 24.

A year later he sexually assaulted a drunk woman after ‘pestering’ females coming out of bars and nightclubs.

Conrad Black: Europe’s Immigration Policy Behind Growing Hostility, Economic Pressure

The murder last December of Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old university student in Southampton, UK, apparently by a Sikh immigrant using a long tribal knife—which in deference to that ethnic group is permitted to be carried by Sikhs in Britain—followed by the near-fatal assault of Stephen Ogilvie in Belfast earlier this month, apparently by a Sudanese man, have both led to extensive rioting in those cities and raised concerns about immigration and racial relations in the United Kingdom to perhaps their highest level.

The Nowak killing was especially gruesome as the assailant’s brother called police to report Nowak for racial hate crimes, while the mother hid the murder weapon. The assailant himself claimed to be acting in self-defense after being assaulted by Nowak following a number of ethnic slurs. Police body cameras and recording devices yielded chilling evidence of the biases and incompetence of police. They handcuffed Nowak, who had been stabbed five times with the eight-inch knife. His protests of having been grievously injured were ignored and as he was dragged to a police vehicle, he died in apparently excruciating pain while being read his rights as a defendant.

Sweden Backs Stricter Residency Rules With ‘Good Behaviour’ Law

Sweden’s parliament has approved a new law allowing authorities to revoke residence permits from ‘badly behaved’ migrants.

The legislation, passed by the Riksdag on Monday, June 15th, enables the Swedish Migration Agency to withdraw both pending and already granted residence permits if a foreigner is deemed to have engaged in misconduct. The new rules will enter into force on July 13th.

Even Sweden is waking up. Canada not so much.
